Bring back the old one :(

Disappointing reformulation
1I’m extremely disappointed that the original cleansing oil has been shelved. This new “micellar” oil is a cheap imitation. More product needs to be used in order for makeup to be fully removed. Certainly more effort is required with this new oil. I noticed that I still had mascara residue even after rinsing. Not good. The new product does not feel as luxurious as the original. It also irritated my skin; resulting in pustules and redness. I hope No7 bring back the original cleansing oil. Why fix something ignorant it ain’t broke?!

Poor substitute for original
1Very disappointed with this product The original foamed when water was added and gave a nice fresh clean feel to the skin - 2 or 3 pumps is not enough to cover face and neck so I was using nearly twice as much

Effective cleansing
4Great price for an effective cleanser. Takes off a full face of make up quickly and easily. Unfair that this was marked down as its changed from the old version; new version is great.

Don’t buy
1I have purchased this product and it is not like the old cleansing oil that boots use to do It smells like vicks vapour rub when you massage it into your face and makes your eyes smart please don’t waste your money on this product. Come on boots bring back the old style cleansing oil and stop trying to improve things that don’t need improving

1It’s not as comfortable as the original, it doesn’t feel as luxurious and stings the eyes. Disappointing

Good but miss the old version
4This is worth a review because I can't recommend highly enough the No7 range of cleansing oils. They are SO GOOD for removing makeup but beyond that I use this daily to get rid of the general grime and dust and it leaves my face feeling fresh. Just pop a bit of moisturiser on afterwards. I absolutely love it. Only thing is that I miss the old version which felt more glidey on my skin and didn't sting my eyes.

5I’ve just started using this micellar oil. Thought it might be dense and cloying. Not at all. Very light and an effective makeup remover for me. Love it, love it, love it!

Lovely but not for eyes!
3I bought this yesterday and thought it was a lovely hydrating cleanser. Feels lovely and smooth on the skin but do not get it near your eyes. I've woken up with very swollen stingy eyes even though I washed it off very thoroughly. Going to use a separate eye make up remover in future.
