No more alabaster :(
4I'd like to start by saying that I love this foundation, I have been using it for well over a year, and the new packaging looks great. However since these new shades have come in, there is no longer an alabaster shade. This foundation in alabaster was the only match I'd ever found for my very pale skin. I tried the new palest shade, Calico, and it is ridiculously dark on me. I love the foundation, I love Number 7, but I'm dissapointed to say the reason I've only given four stars is because once my current bottle has ran out I will have to be on the search for a new foundation.

Amazing!!!
5Im very happy with my foundation shade for the first time in my life!!!! thx to boots and staff!!!!! Fortunately i had my shade (depply beige) perfectly Foundation Match Made Service in all of the foundations! So i bought 3 sorts of it!!! and im so happy about that,i m so impressed with the product! i really recomend it! I bought the Instant Radiance Foundation, Lift & Luminate Foundation and Protect & Perfect Foundation as it was 3 for 2!!!!

Perfect Match
5This new match made is what we have all been waiting for ladies !! I had this done at my local store and was amazed at the perfect colour match to my skin tone, I am Deeply Beige and would never haven chosen this for myself. It seems that No7 are trying to teach us all that our foundation is our canvas and to add colour through our blusher, lipsticks and highlighters/bronzers. Take the guess work out of choosing your next foundation, if you are like me you probably have several used only once pots in your make up drawer. Highly recommended.

Full colour range not available in this formulation
2I was colour matched yesterday with the new colour matching service, and was matched to Honey. Unfortunately, this colour is not available in this texture, so I've had to go with a different colour which doesn't look as good. I think the colour matching service is a bit of a disappointment if your colour is only available in one of the formulation (Stay Perfect is the only formulation that seems to have all the colours represented).

Excellent shade match!
4I had tried so many foundations for the past 1 year but they all seemed so different from my natural skin shade! My neck and face looked soo different in photos. So one day I decided to try the No 7 foundation as it had very positive reviews. and I was sooo delighted after using it. Im using the Blonde shade and it suits my complexion alot. i usually mix it with a bit of Rimmel foundation to attain greater coverage. I dont even need powder after that as texture is awesome. It stays for the whole day and gives an even feel. REALLY LIFTING and LUMINATING. love all my pictures now! its a MUST TRY!! specially for eastern or wheatish complexions.

RATHER DISAPPOINTED
2I have been using this foundation for some time now and really liked it. Unfortunately on my last purchase, a week ago, I find this to be very thin and oily nothing to compare with my previous purchasers of Lift & Luminate Foundation. I am very disappointed and will probably not purchase again.

Mainly good points
4I bought this foundation because it is the best colour match I have ever found for my pale skin (I use the colour Alabaster). The first bottle I bought was brilliant, a little oily but I have combination skin and it didn't seem to encourage spots so thats fine - I use a transparent powder over the top because it can look a little shiny. I only need a tiny amount of this, a bottle has lasted me over 6months of almost daily wear. It doesn't seem quite heavy enough to cover spots so if i do get them I need to use a concealer too. The only downside of this is that when I bought my second bottle the foundation started to seperate within a couple of weeks. I've tried storing it in different positions, shaking, rolling etc but it is still seperated with a foundationy section and an oily component which has put me off greatly. This never happend with my original bottle even though they were stored exactly the same - so im unsure if i will end up buying again.

Lovely light texture, which provides even coverage for a dewy complexion
4This is the perfect foundation for dry, yet spot prone skin. It is moisturising, yet not oily or greasy so does not encourage spots. The foundation is light and not remotely cakey, I was particularly pleased with how well the shade that I chose blended with my pale skin tone. You will, however need to use concealer with this product, because it does not completely hide blemishes. All in all a lovely product which I will continue to use.

Perfect
5I purchased this nearly a year ago, and wouldn't wish to use anything else. It goes on easily, covers at least 90-95% of blemishes, and leaves a healthy, smooth finish. My skin is very fair, so I use the lightest colour, and it's the best match I've ever found (after 10+ years of buying foundation of various prices). I also use the No7 cover-up stick (the small gold thing, around £8) and this helps to cover up anything else. Perfect combination, please God, don't discontinue ;o)

Excellent Product
5Not only is this an excellent product and does exactly what it says it does, the clever design of the bottle means you use every last drop of foundation!! Wish all No7 facial creams had this very clever little bottle!
