Product's quality has deteriorated
1I am now on my third lift and luminate foundation. The last came from the updated, newly packaged, find your colour range and it has proved to be disappointing. The product feels cheaper, the coverage is poor for the price paid and, if anything, the product ages me. I'm afraid I will not buy this product again.

Great foundation shame about the packaging
3After reading a lot of reviews about the No7 colour match service I thought I would give it a go. I am quite pale so was pleasantly surprised with the range of shades available and how close they were able to match me to a shade. I was looking for a medium/full coverage with a radiant finish so was recommended the lift and luminate foundation. I was suitably impressed with the foundation it gave me a flawless appearance and eliminated the need to apply a brightening primer underneath. However I am now half way through the bottle and the pump has completed stopped working. I am unable to pump any of the foundation out of the bottle and as you are unable to unscrew the top off I now have half a bottle left that I am unable to use. I am rather disappointed with the quality of the packaging for the price of the product.

Colour match good - shame about texture :(
1Hi - I had the colourmatch done and for my yellow tones 50 year old skin with a few (natural at my age!) sunspots and lines - I was advised on Warm Beige in the Lift and Luminate. I love the colour - perfectly natural, even in a mirror taken outside into natural daylight(you have to be brave for this!!) - but the textureof the Lift Luminate is heavy and sorry Boots..very very drying. It sunk into my lines after couple of hours and I took it all off, cleansed and applied moisturiser...then had another try. Sorry - it wont be used again - will try another. Love the colour match though! Thanks x

Very disappointing
1I loved the 'old' formula of this foundation in the shade Alabaster. It was the first foundation I'd found that was pale enough for my skin. When I found that this shade was no longer available I was very disheartened and decided to go along for the test to see which 'new' shade would suit me. It was decided I should use Calico. I have to say I'm really disappointed, I don't like the shade at all, it's much darker than alabaster and has what I would call an 'orangey' undertone. I also don't like the consistency of the foundation, which used to feel light and moisturising but now feels a lot heavier and quite drying. I won't be buying this again and my search for the perfect pale shade starts yet again. If it ain't broke don't fix it No.7, you've lost a loyal customer.

Uplifting and anti ageing
5Have used this product for some time now. Gives a natural and dewy finish whilst giving good coverage. Certainly uplifting in mind and body....

Love this product
5Had my colour match done by a lovely sales assistant. I have stuck with my old foundation for a long time as there is such a vast choice out there that it seemed the only thing to do. I am SO GLAD that Boots came up with the colour match idea. I now have a lovely foundation which not only looks great colourwise but also feels great on my skin. I would recommend having a colour match to anyone.

this foundation certainly has provided Tah Da!!
5Thoough I have always used Number 7 I have been using Chanel foundation for about 4 years.People commented at how glowing and natural my skin always looked especially at special occasions like my son's wedding. I decided to try the fooundation match service and it was REALLY Really important to get the nearest match to the product I had been using. The girls were very helpful and gave me samples and I bought lift and luminate in the shade suggested. I am so pleased with it ! It is not only aperfect match for my skin it is a perfect match for my previous foundation!! thank you very much good old number 7 I only say old in the same way that I am old!

5Had an excellent service from Steph at Birstall branch No7 counter this afternoon..she colour matched me "pale rose" and I decided to go for this foundation, and I absolutely love it!....Great coverage, colour and texture.....I am very pleased with my purchase, and would very much recommend this product and the colour match service! Well done Boots! x

Excellent foundation
5Had my colour match recently in my local Sheffield Meadowhall store and was found to be Deeply Ivory. This colour and formulation of foundation is the best foundation I have ever had. Look forward to putting it on in the mornings. Thanks No 7

Wowser!
5Had a match done yesterday using the new camera device, and it is a perfect match!. my shade is cool vanilla and it blends into my skin beautifully. I chose Lift And Iluminate foundation as I use the skincare in this range as well. I am sixty five, but the Restore and Renew was too nourishing for my skin. I would say that unless you have a dry skin go for Lift and Iluminate. Go by your skin type rather than age. Love the whole range!
