Great foundation
5Lift & Luminate Foundation has a thick texture: Note that there are 6 shades to choose from. I got cream. I choose cream as its a fresher look. Worked into the skin, it looks a little oily, but quickly settles down into quite an even, glowy finish. Not at all greasy. I really like this foundation! It has a better texture for my skin – its creamy so its good for my dry skin and has better coverage. I think my skin felt quite smooth afterwards. I’d say this powder benefits from a light powder to set things because it is a glowy base and can slide off during the day. I would recommend this base – for £15 (apparently no longer expensive for a drugstore level foundation) you get a treatment and a medium coverage foundation that does everything you need. If you have very oily skin, this may be a little rich for you.

Great product!
5I have swapped my usual Chanel foundation for this one because the colour is much better suited to my skin tone,you can ask for a sample to take home to try first ,{Chanel don't have samples anymore).it's nice to get the colour right before you part with your cash,very good for dry skin as it doesn't clog.It's not too heavy but you can build it up if you want a heavier coverage. Ps.to the previous reviewer,i too couldn't find the colour on the bottle,it is on the bottom of the bottle and was only visible when i put on my reading glasses,lol.

GOOD PRODUCT
4This is a great product, nice colour and easy to apply but why on earth does it not have the colour or colour code on the container? Maybe it was on the box it came in but that got thrown away months ago! I wanted to order more on-line but no indication of which colour I should have been ordering ! Come on Boots get your act together on this one.

Good for my skin
5I used to use Age Renew but i don't think Boots do that any more. (?) I think this product replaced it. Anyway, I've been using this one for about a year now and i find it very good for my skin. It goes on easily and blends well, with a nice finish. I don't like heavy foundations and this is very natural looking.

More than a foundation
4I really love this foundation! I used to use Clinique or a tinted moisturiser as I don't like heavy foundations. it's a really light and smooth application sinks in almost straight away I don't even feel like I'm wearing a foundation. My skin feels lovely and smooth and velvety afterwards. It teams really well with the protect and perfect range. Judging by the other views people with fairer skin have got on with this foundation better (in terms of shades). I would definitely recommend this to anyone with a similar skin type as me; fair, clear skin, combination with a hint of dryness. I haven't given this a 5 as I wouldn't say it is particuarly firming - I think that's asking a lot of a foundation!

Wouldnt recommend
2I find this greasy and rubbish on coverage and my skin isnt even bad. I used to use intelligent cover in the pots but this was discontinued in that size and made much smaller and yet more expensive so tried this. I wont be buying this version again.

Very disappointed
1Bought this foundation because my local store did not stock my usual Max Factor Age Renew foundation. I am very disappointed with Lift and Luminate foundation as it does not cover well, visibly sits in my pores and looks extremely patchy. Would not recommend it to anyone.

Flawless!
5This foundation is absolutely flawless! I've never really used foundations as I always thought they would clog up the skin, but this foundation is amazing. It delivers a flawless, luminous tone, and looks so natural and adds the perfect glow! What I also love is how the shade I chose matches my skin perfectly, I chose the lightest shade, as my skin is very fair, and every other foundation I have tested is always either too orange or too dark, but this is something else! No7 delivers the best quality products, in my eyes, this is my favorite make-up brand, from their mascara's, to lipsticks!

5This is the best foundation I have ever found. The colour is great (went for Porcelain) and it looks really natural on the skin. It is light, easy to apply and gives a gentle radiance. Really can't fault it. Like the plastic bottle too as oppose to glass as you can see how much you are using.

great shade, but not perfect
2I struggle to find shades that are light enough for me - the alabaster shade is perfect. It's light and not at all orangey so suits my very fair skin. However, I found it to be a bit shiny and a little inconsistent in coverage. A shame as I love the shade.
