Impressed especially for the price
4Have to admit, I was skeptical. Having used Double-wear light for a while, the price was getting too much for me and I found even the light option was getting drying on my skin so went to the No7 counter and tried the Stay Perfect foundation first. For whatever reason, it didn't agree with my skin so this was suggested as an alternative. I've hit my mid 30s so like that it has the added anti-aging benefits too so gave it a go. After a month of using this, I'm impressed. For the price, I'm getting better results to foundations twice the price and I've even noticed the tone of my skin has improved as well as the fine lines around my eyes slightly blurred. I reckon I'll be using this foundation for a long time. I dropped a star purely because the coverage is good but not great. I can build it but when I do that, it looks a little cakey. I now use this foundation along with Benefit Boing Industrial strength concealer in places and it is the perfect match. My skin never feels dry either which was a problem with other foundations. I really hope they don't mess with this formula.

Great foundation
5I usually use a high end foundation (which I love) but it's getting too pricey & circumstances meant I needed to look for something cheaper! I saw this advertised and decided to give it a go. I was colour matched by the machine to Wheat. I am half Italian and when I was young I would have described my complexion as olive but as I've aged ( I'm 53) , my skin tone has faded and looks a little uneven in tone although I still tan easily. I found wheat to be a perfect natural looking match. Neither too yellow or pink but neutral. Really like the texture of this foundation . It glides on quickly anx easily with a foundation brush. Medium coverage and youthful looking. Decent staying power. Very pleased with my purchase.

Weird colour
2I got colour matched in store but this foundation makes my skin tone look quite dull and a bit ashy. I wouldn't repurchase as I think you can get much better quality with another brand or a different foundation.

Beautiful. Try it.
5Exasperated with constant changes with my Ysl foundation I spent some time with No7 experts at an Aberdeen branch seeking a new foundation. Colour matched to Calico they sampled me with that and next shade up Vanilla. Calico was perfect. Lasts all day. Skin feels moist all day. Bought the foundation brush,so beautiful to apply. Have since bought the mosaic compact, the skin illuminator, a power brush and they advised me to change from their translucent powder to next shade up which I have done - very happy. Cost effective, I feel I'm getting top quality products at a fair price.

They changed the formula and it is bad
2The new formula is darker in colour. I have been matched to Cool Vanilla in the past and it was my perfect color, dewy foundation for my dry skin. Now I repurchased the product in the same shade but in the new formula and it is darker and matte ! It looks nothing like the old one ! What have you done No.7? Bring back the old formula !

Not as good as previous product
1Having used the old version for years I thought I had found the perfect foundation which knocked high end brands out of the ball park. My skin looked dewy.. fresh.. effortless... hydrated and people constantly commented on how nice my skin was. I ran out last week and did the usual journey to purchase the next bottle. However it had been discontinued and a new version in its place. DIdnt think too much of it. However - I wish I had! Awful. It's thicker... matte.. no dewy effect at all and my face looks dull like I've put a lot of powder on. It's just completely different in every way it could have been. Do not buy. The only ppl who seem happy with the product don't seem to have used the old version and those who have can tell it doesn't compare. Awful. Back to the foundation hunt once again. So disappointed. 1/5.

Not a patch on the old version
1The new product is not even close to the old. The blue top version my skin would feel supple and look glowing. The new version is dull... Cakey and Matt. I've lost the glow people used to comment on. Will have to find a new brand. Seems many agree with me. BRING BACK THE OLD!

NO 7 Lift & Luminate Serum Foundation
5I usually use NO7 Stay Perfect Foundation but tried this and liked it. It covers well and lasts all day, it felt lovely on my skin, colour match is good. I like that it has SPF 15 and is for sensitive skin. Would recommend this product.

Worst ever now you've changed it
1I've been using your original blue lid foundation for years and after reading that you'd changed the ingredients was dubious to buy this as the reviews weren't great. I purchased it and the woman at my local boots applied it to my full face. After leaving the store and getting back home ( roughly 1 hour later) I was a fluorescent orange mess. I have never seen any foundation oxidise so quickly, and I've used budget ranges costing £2. I've always had compliments on this as it looks so natural and dewy. I will be returning and getting a refund , and sadly going to try another brand. On looking at the reviews it's only been given decent ones by first time users, that itself speaks volumes.

Ok but not great
2I bought this as soon as it came out. Being a Stay Perfect and Superlight fan, I had high hopes that this foundation would be as good if not better than my usual products. Although its ok, it doesn't live up to the hype (in my opinion). My usual shade of Warm Ivory is a perfect match but I felt underwhelmed by this foundation. I wouldn't purchase again. Disappointed as I wanted to love this product!
