Didn't last
3Lovely product to apply and looks great for a couple hours but then I found it wore off quiet quickly and it left my skin looking patchy.

Not the best but not the worst
3This new formula foundation incorporating the serum has changed how it looks and feels on the skin, it has lost some of its glow and is quite drying which if you have oily skin may well be a benefit.

Not The Best
2Initially this foundation seemed to be a good one, it is quite thick but the first few times I used it that didn’t matter and it appeared to go on well. It is however quite cakey and after a few days I was finding it harder and harder to blend. I found it drying and couldn’t wait to get it off at the end of the day. Bit of a let down and won’t be buying it again.

Love it
5Lovely foundation. Really good coverage with finger tips but for even fuller coverage use a brush. Such a good skin colour match too. Goes on so smooth and blends in effortlessly.

Disappointing replacement of the original product
1I've been using this for years but the new formula is dreadful. Coverage is thick and clogs. Even worse it smells just like paint. I cannot afford to throw it away but I definitely won't buy again.

Bring back original lift and luminate foundation
2I am so dissapointed with this ! Have used the lift and luminate foundation with blue lid for years .But this is just not the same .It does not leave that lovely glow I used to get with the older version .People used to compliment on how lovely my skin looked ! But now it doesn't have that glow and looks drier ! Bring back the old version boots Please as so many customers loved the original !

Needs a better shade range for darker complexions
2There is not a good shade range for darker skin complexions. Mocha is very grey on the skin and isn't nice if you have more golden and warm undertones. It's not dark enough. There needs to be darker shades and more of a range in the darker end of the spectrum. It's got a lightweight smooth texture but it's not the easiest to build up. Very lightweight on the skin. The skin. Seems better suited for people looking for light coverage.

Absolutely love it
5I went into my boots and had my colour checked and matched so took a sample and after months and months of searching for a decent foundation that doesn’t feel caked on and that looks natural I finally found a keeper. Try it!!!!

Unsatisfactory and a bit of a let down
1I loved this foundation initially - however after a couple or days I broke out in terrible spots all over my chin and forehead. I've never really suffered with spots but after a couple or weeks my chin was so sore. I swapped to an urban decay foundation and the spots have almost instantly gone. Ive emailed boots and they have responded that it is an allergic reaction to one or the ingredients, however since amother reviewer has had the same experience it's not unique. What a shame as the actual foundation lasted quite well. No where near as well as the urban decay one I have however!

Better than the old one!
5I went into my usual boots to repurchase my lift and luminate foundation to find it had changed, I asked the consultant and she explained that it now had ingredients direct from the serum in and it was a lot less thick and claggy than the old foundation. Dubious, I went home and tried a sample pot first and I can honestly say this is the best foundation I have ever tried! So so impressed well done No7! I went back into store a purchased a full size bottle as well as some of the new eyeshadow trios and I love it all. The foundation glide on nice and smoothly and isn’t as thick and squelchy as before which I like. It’s not as dewy as before either which I don’t mind as I have an oily skin, and the ‘soft focus’ in the product makes my skin look very smooth and younger! Will definitely be buying again I love it!
