Awful!!!!
1I have been using the old version of this for a while now and have been so impressed, it was much better than the ysl pen I used to use before. But the new version is awful!!!! No shade to match anywhere near the lightest shade I had been using so disappointed that I now have to find another brand to use!!

Good Colour Match - Shame about the rest
1The colour I chose matches my skin tone perfectly, the brush itself is easy to apply - those are the only good points Bad points - the application pen is difficult to control the amount of concealer that comes out The worst point - I am not prone to sensitivity around the eyes and use no. 7 products all the time, bit this product is reacting with my skin - not a fantastic result over the festive period!!

Why change a great product!
1This product was a make up staple for me, I used it everyday and it did wonders to improve darkness around the eyes. Its the one product i couldn't go without. I understand Boots want to standardise to the new colour formatting to match the foundations but this is no longer a 'radiance' product. It's simply a concealer which is very orange and just does not do the job any more. It's a shame that Boots have done this when this product previously rivalled other top brands in lightening and improving darkness. I seriously hope they listen to all the reviews and bring back the original product. For the meantime my love of No7 is lost and I'm off to use another brand!

This is terrible
1It is horrible, I hate it and am going to take it back. Why change such a brilliant product? I have been using the old version in the second lightest shade for at least 7 years and loved it and recommended it to everyone. I am so sad that in the new version No.7 have darkened even the very lightest shade to darker than my skin tone. Where have the light reflecting ingredients and light texture needed for the eye area gone? This is now a thick dark paste that accentuates dark circles instead of concealing them. I hope you are listening Boots.

This went mouldy after a couple of weeks
1I bought this as an alternative to the touché eclat pen. Tried it for a couple of days and it seemed ok but didn't quite match up. I went back to finish my current T E and when I came back to use the boots consealar the tip was covered in grey mould! It had not been stored in an over warm environment or in direct sun.

Disappointing
2Brilliant product but awful device. The concealer goes on really easily and soaks into the skin evenly, doesn't even need much blending. The pen device is possibly the worst I've ever used. You have to press the device so many times to get the smallest amount of product out so won't be very cost effective in the end, the device is very easy to press either. To be honest I would have thrown it away if the concealer wasn't that good.

Not as good as previous version
1Similar to previous reviewers I bought this product after using the previous version of instant radiance concealer for many years. I have very pale skin and similar to the changes made to No.7 foundation I was very disappointed to see the colours now available are a lot darker (not what you want when trying to brighten dark circles!). I found even the lightest colour, and formulation a really bad match for my skin and seems to accentuate dark areas. I used to be able to apply the previous product on other areas of my face to also help conceal any spots or flaws now it is just too dark. I will not buy this again, please bring back the old product!

A Real Shame. Please bring back the last version!
1A real shame! Maybe I should've looked into a better colour match, but I have used the previous version of this product for years and it's been perfect for me. I bought the same shade of this newer version (the second lightest), assuming it would be the same but silver packaging instead of white. Unfortunately it's gone downhill and I'm so disappointed I can't get the old one anymore. I found the appearance very cakey. On application the colour looks good but seems to dry darker and makes my eye circles more pronounced. I look quite ill after using this product and am better off without it. The previous was so perfect. I've no wasted money and will need to find something else that suits me. So sad it has changed when it was so good before. Sorry for the miserable review! I'm just so disappointed.

Terrible
1I have been using Boots No7 instant radiance concealer for years and absolutely loved it and then Boots go and change it! The new concealer is absolutely awful and the coverage is terrible. Why oh why Boots do you feel the need to change something that has worked so well for so many people. Myself and the other reviewers all have the same opinion that the 'new' concealer is awful. If it ain't broken don't fix it springs to mind and I shall be looking for a new concealer and throwing this rubbish in the bin where it belongs. I didn't even want to give it one star but you can't rate it a zero! Very disappointed!

A Terrible Change
1I couldn't agree more with the other negative reviews! I have been using the old version in the second lightest shade for at least 8 years as a brilliant and affordable version of a quite expensive designer product. I am SO sad that in the new version No.7 have darkened even the very lightest shade to darker than my skin tone and removed any light reflecting ingredients completely. After buying my first new pen in the lightest shade (post change) I ended up with accentuated dark beige circles under my eyes and over any blemish which really stand out on my fair/average skin tone - the old version was perfect as a concealer under the eyes or on top of any imperfection. They have turned this product into a completely average thick concealer paste from what used to be a light reflecting miracle and was in a price bracket ordinary people could afford. I am very sad at the prospect of having to pay more than double for the designer product now as I certainly won't be purchasing this (which used to be a staple and favourite) ever again. I have recommended this product to so many people over the years and always to rave reviews. It's very disappointing that we will all now have to look for alternatives Bring back the old 002 version please - with the original light reflecting recipe! Why change something which was so brilliant? Or at the very least, offer it in addition to the new massive range of colours which don't actually conceal dark circles - you have the technology/recipe and we want it!
