l am SICK of products l love being replaced!!!
1ONCE AGAIN a product l loved - and used successfully has been removed from the market by No.7 and replaced - l could scream. l purchased this item for that reason (my lovely / perfect / awesome under eye concealer has been replaced by this item) lts rubbish!!! not worth the money. Doesn't apply as smoothly... l purchased the lightest shade they do- which is medium dark!!! so now l am once again forced to spend a lot of money trying other products to hopefully!!! find an under eye concealer l like/love :( NOT very good No.7

1I have used old version of this for years and absolutely loved it. Having bought the new style I am so disappointed. I will be returning this.

instant radiance concealer
1I agree with all the other bad reviews of this product. The new shades are totally too dark for most women, and look orangy and dull. Like most of the other comments, under eye concealer should be a bit lighter than foundation, to brighten and conceal dark circles. I used the old shade 2 and it was perfect with boots no.7 restore and renew foundation in calico. The new one recommended to match was shade 10 - it looked horrendous, orange and dark, and it is one of the lightest shades. As somebody else mentioned,Boots are ruling out a huge chunk of the population that are fair skinned, as these new concealers just won't work for them. Please Boots take notice of what women are saying in these comments, and bring back the old shades. The majority of the posts on here are saying the same. Please take notice of your loyal customers

Great tool, not sure of repurchase
4The brush is a great way applicator and doesn't dry it if wiped clean after each use. The match made service is great and the colour matches my foundation (10 concealer with calico foundation). Sometimes I feel it really works, and can also be used as a highlighter under my eyes, but sometimes I feel I need a lot to cover dark circles under my eyes. It's also quite a lot of money but worth buying with a voucher that no 7 quite often hand out.

Disappointing - bring back old product!
1I have used the old version of this under eye concealer for many years. When I went to purchase recently was shocked to see that such a great product had been replaced. I was persuaded to try the new product. I have to say I am wholly disappointed. I have very pale skin and even the lightest two shades looked far too dark, one quite pink in colour and one quite yellow. Unlike the old product which really lightened the under eye area, this just makes the area look even darker and because the product has a drier consistency just draws attention to any fine lines. PLEASE READ REVIEWS AND BRING BACK OLD PRODUCT!!!

An ill advised move by No7
1I could not believe that the original Under Eye Concealer is no longer available. This replacement product is hardly in the same category as it gives a rather thick definite 'make-up' appearance - the last thing I want in my delicate eye area! Boots, by all means add to your range of No7 but don't replace good, proven, products with a completely different item - and call it by the same name! We cannot stay loyal customers if you treat us this way. Please... bring back the original !

Why mess with a good thing?!
1The staple of my make-up bag has gone to pot! If you are like me and use a variety of different brands of make-up then you may find it hard to match the colour! I used to buy the fairest colour '01', and matched beautifully to my skin tone with or without my Clinique foundation. I took in an old style No.7 under eye concealer to a Boots store to try and match up with the new shades, there was nothing that the No.7 consultant or I could get anywhere near the cooler tones of the 01 colour from the old range. Be warned they dry darker after application. I can kind of understand that they are wanting to colour match with their range of foundations, but they have completely alienated themselves from customers like me who's make-up bag consists of a variety of brands.

1The saying 'If it ain't broke don't fix it' applies here. The previous version of this concealer was fabulous, used it for many years. This one is terrible, complete waste of money.

Horrible!
1As a dedicated purchaser of Shade II of this product for more years than I can remember I am absolutely disappointed that Boots have discontinued the lovely illuminating concealer and replaced it with a cakey, thick non light reflecting concealer. I tried to find the closest match to the shade I had previously used but even that is still too dark. My match made shade I was told by the sales assistant I am was even darker! Boots- the whole point of an under eye concealer is it is meant to highlight the under eye area and make it look fresh and bright. This is now not an under eye concealer- it is just thick paste and looks orange and creasy when applied. Judging from all the other reviews I hope that Boots take into consideration all the negative comments and bring back the original product. This has gone straight in my bin. PLEASE LISTEN TO THE CUSTOMER!!!!! Bring back the original formula.
