WHO has grey undertones??

I had really high hopes for this, I really did. I bought three different shades in the 3for2 offer and NONE of them worked for me. I wasn’t too keen on the shade match so I decided to get different shades in case things didn’t work out with the one I was shade matched to. It didn’t sit well on my skin, left streak marks everywhere and the shades looked absolutely awful. Least to say that the shade range is dreadful as with every other foundation No7 comes out with. Come on No7, it’s 2019, bring out more shades!

Love it!!!!

I suffer with dry skin patches and most make ups stick to it like crazy! I saw this when it first came out and thought I’d give it a go - it was on offer for £10 which is less than other high street brands! I asked for help choosing a colour, the lady was really helpful and did the colour match service for me. I liked it when she tried a bit on me so got one. I have to say I am really impressed. It works so well with my dry patches - I can’t see them. The coverage is lighter than I’d like but that’s the trouble with dry skin - I’ve found the heavier the make up the more visible it is. I have got used to the lighter coverage now and really love this foundation. I’d recommend it for anyone suffering with dry skin, so much so I bought more while they were on offer! Good value anyway at normal price!

Game changer

After a recommendation from Beauty guru Sali Hughs, I gave this a whirl. It’s amazing and just melts into my skin for a seamless finish. Colour matched by assistant in store and it’s spot on. Want to batch order more!

Not hydrating at all

I have dry skin and previously used the No7 Stay perfect, when i seen the new ""hydraluminous" foundation i was really excited to try it out. To my disappointment this foundation is pretty much Matte, the coverage is fine but it doesn't feel hydrating one bit, i have to mix with moisturiser.

Poor substitute

I have always used the instant radiance foundation and found it excellent but yet again Boots have discontinued a proven product. Why? I shall not buy this again. I do not find it moisturising at all but the worst sin of all is that they have replaced a glass bottle product with plastic. Unforgivable in this day and age. I would willing pay more for a glass or ceramic bottle and avoid polluting the planet with more plastic

Rubbish!

I got sucked into buying this by the sale lady in my nearest big Boots, but really didn’t get on with it. I found it drying and cakey, sitting squarely on my driest patches instead of helping to moisturise as it claims and looked very matte on my combination skin. An extremely poor replacement for Instant Radiance, which is my all time favourite foundation. Shocking work, No7.

Not so great.

I have been using this foundation for a few weeks now. The finish is dewy and coverage light to medium on my skin and that's the part I really like. My main issue is that you can see the foundation on the very fine facial hairs, or patches of dry skin, making them more noticable. It almost looks like I've applied a heavy powder to my face. I found this to be especially true when I applied the foundation with a brush. When I applied it with a damp sponge it definitely looked a lot better. The foundation is quite thin and watery but I do not find that a problem. It definitely makes my pores less visible. It feels nice on my skin and I find the staying power good. I normally use Stay Perfect or Lift and Protect foundation and I prefer those to the HydraLuminous foundation. I have never had issues with fine facial hair becoming more noticable when using the other No7 foundations.

Dewy skin

I've tried every foundation from high end to cheaper versions. This is lovely and I will be buying again. I'm in my mid 40s with normal to dry skin. It is easy to apply and natural looking, so if you are looking for maximum coverage this is not for you. My skin looks dewy and fresh - I love it..

Excellent formula, inadequate shade range

There is a lot to love about this foundation. It doesn't look or feel heavy or greasy on the skin but covers and smooths the complexion for a fresh, natural look. It is slightly dewy, not shimmery, when first applied, and I found only very light powdering to mattify the t-zone is required. It has amazing staying power that I don't think I have ever experienced in liquid foundations before and doesn't break down, transfer or separate. In fact I think my skin looked better after a few hours when I have worn this. However, and this is a big however, the palest shade, Porcelain, is a total misnomer as it actually dries to a yellow, orange shade. I have very fair, neutral skin of Celtic heritage which cannot tan. I don't consider this to be unusual in the UK and find it disappointing, and quite surprising after 20 years of experincing this problem, that so few makeup brands, particularly on the high street, cater for this skintone. It is otherwise a brilliant foundation but sadly unwearable for someone with truly pale skin without looking dirty or jaundiced.

Really Good Foundation

I have been using a tester pot of this for a week and absolutely love it, so much that I bought it today. I normally buy high end foundations but since my favourite was discontinued a few years back I’ve struggled to find a suitable alternative. I like something that looks quite natural but with a decent coverage as I have some blemishes and broken capillaries. I don’t like anything too matt and cakey but equally anything too dewey just slides off my face. I’ve always struggled to get something that ticks all the boxes until now! This foundation absolutely does! Good coverage but very natural and youthful looking for every day use. The colour match service was great too, I was matched with warm ivory which I doubted at first as I never thought I had warm tones but it’s a perfect match and blends well with my natural skin tone
