Takes longer than advertised
4I was unsure about the effectiveness of this product but I stuck with it and am now on my third tube. I got it as soon as it came out so I think that's about 4 months. I can now definitely see some improvement, fading, and some of the larger areas are breaking up. About a month ago I started to use Serum Activating Pads and the Resurfacing Skin Paste. It may be a coincidence but I think these products may be contributing to the improvement. I wasn't going to buy another tube but I think I will. continue.

Disappointing and irritated my skin
1I bought this in June, very expensive, I used it for just over 3 weeks, all it did was irritate my skin. The packaging is needlessly difficult to get into. The top on the tube is also annoyingly difficult when you first open it. Usually a number 7 fan, but not this.

Working for me
5I've been using this once a day for the past 4 weeks and can see a real improvement on a particularly dark spot on my cheek due to years of sun exposure. Now going to use on a patch of skin on the decolitage and hope for the same results. The fact my husband and bff have noticed the difference in the discoloration on my face is a real confidence boost.

Waste of money
1I totally agree with all the other reviews! Used this expensive product and no difference to my dark spots! I wonder if I can get a refund. Boots - comments please!

Waste of money
1Total waste of money. I bought this new version in the 3 for 2 and wished I hadn't bothered as its predecessor also did nothing. Both times a different sales assistant said that it worked on them but they must be trained to say this, having read other reviews. I have used the No 7 serum for years but think that is the only product worth getting (Calm Skin is quite good but I now use a vastly superior Global Day Cream by REN instead as I'm prone to flushing). I'm just always so disappointed with the No 7 packaging - the whole syringe-effect of the new serum is rather pathetic and the outer packaging is extremely wasteful. Plus you can never quite get all of the product out of most of the items. This one 'sputters' annoyingly towards the end of the tube. I'm not even sure you can recycle any of it as there's so much foil/ metallic used on it. No 7 seems to be going downhill rapidly, which is a shame.

No good at all
1This product is rubbish compared to the previous Dark Spot correcter.... more than double the price of the last one and a complete waste of money....does nothing to correct pigment.

Wasted my money
1I bought this and used the whole tube, no difference whatsoever. It’s a waste off money, wish you could get a refund on a empty tube

Waste of Money
1i bought this as the girl in the shop told me she used it and her dark spots had almost gone. I used it exactly as it said to and i have seen no difference at all. I bought 3 products in total as they had an offer 3 for 2 and none of them have been any good. Boots should not be allowed to sell these products and them not work. I would like to know if i can get my money back as they are not cheap products.

Didn’t work
1Didn’t make a blind bit of difference and it’s too expensive to keep using it to see if it would work longer . I would expect to see some results after finishing the tube. It’s doesn't live up to Boots statements so think it’s wr9ng of boots to say it does!!!!
