No7 Laboratories Dark Spot Correcting Booster Serum

I bought this to use on small areas of darker pigmentation (half a cm?) on my face. Unfortunately the applicator is formed in such a way that you can’t target a small area - the Serum just ends up blobbing on and smudging over a larger area. This irritatingly has resulted in me having (after just a week) lighter pigmentation but also a lighter area around it - basically really obvious whiter circles with the spot of darker pigmentation in the middle. Really annoyed. I am now trying to apply with a fine paintbrush instead which seems to be easier but the damage on my face is done. The bottle really needs a rethink or Boots will end up with lots of disappointed customers! The good news is though that it does seem to lighten.

I was given an opportunity to trial the No7 Dark Spot serum before it went on sale. Not sure if i was supposed to use it on dark circles under my eyes but its really help reduce the intensity of these. I used it twice a day, its easy to apply and easily absorbed and i’ve had no problems in applying makeup over the top. Well definitely be putting this serum into my regime

My mum is conscious of her dark spots as she believes it's a sign of her age! However after using the product it drastically reduced the visibility of the dark spots. Would definitely recommend this product on behalf of my mum.

Im writing this on behalf of my mom who used this under her eyes by accident thinking thats what it was for and has noticed a huge difference and just could not wait to show me how well its worked. She even went into boots to tell the staff how amazing it was she now cant live with out it and uses it every day.

I have suffered from dark spots on my cheeks for the last couple of years and it really effected my self esteem so thank you No7 for this product. My skin is already looking better after just 2 weeks of use and I couldn't be happier :)

Was looking for something to lighten and if possible remove some dark skin spots caused by sun & did lots of research on what available in the market. Went into my local Boots and after speaking to the person working on the No7 counter she highly recommended this. I have now been using this for almost 1 month and applying it as she recommended it twice a day morning & night and there are no signs or changes in the dark skin spots. Very disappointing and a waste of money!!!

I have never written a review before but was compelled to after using this booster serum as it’s such an expensive purchase. I’ve been using it as directed, morning and night since I purchased it on April 18th. FYI I use a factor 50 spf each day. I have been taking photos to track any difference and if anything the rain spots seem slightly more pronounced! If the case is that it’s only effective with certain cases of dark spots then that should’ve been advertised and I would’ve judged whether to purchase it or not:

I have been using this product since the summer and I am sorry to say it does not do what I had expected. Their has been no visible change in my dark spot. I will not buy this again.

I’ve been using this product morning and night, as directed, since it’s release - not seen any difference if anything my dark spot area on my cheek is more pronounced as it seems to have made the rest of my skin around the area red too! Now that the product has been out a while I thought I’d check to see what other Reviews said and seems there are a lot of disappointed customers who’ve paid a lot for this serum just like me! Such a shame as I had such high hopes for this one! Is there a ‘money back’ on this product as it seems to me there are a lot of similar reviews? The credibility of this product is definitely in question.
