Not worth the money
1I have been using this product for just over 4 weeks and i feel there has been no difference to the colour of my dark spots, skin texture in the area feels a little smoother, but not worth the price. I have used twice a day as instructions say and have not finished tube.

Total waste of money
1I have a dark spot the size of a 5p coin on my forehead which I showed to the No 7 assistant. She said ‘that will fade dramatically in 2 weeks with this serum.’ It’s been 4 weeks of religiously applying twice a day and there has been ZERO IMPROVEMENT. Total waste of money (which I would like back, Boots). Awful awful awful product with over hyped claims! Worse than terrible. Do not buy this product!

Impressed
4Initially concerned about the price but have got rid of a very dark spot about 1.5cm diameter. It has taken one and a half tubes. Constant twice a day. I put it on with a cotton bud as the applicator is a tiny bit big. Extremely impressed and have photo evidence to prove the difference. It would get 5 stars but I'm wondering if when I stop using it the dark spot will return... Need to put this to the test I guess.

Complete waste of time
1I bought this product a few months ago and used it as recommended until the tube was empty. It made absolutely no difference at all. A complete waste of time and money. Sorry No7. I have used your other skincare products for 15 years but will not be bothering with this again.

Waste of money
1I have now used this product twice a day until there is nothing left. It has not made any difference - I wish I'd read the reviews before spending £38 on it!!!!!!!

Rubbish
1I purchased product and then realised considering the price I should have read reviews before buying. I therefore went on to the Boots website and was horrified to see that I had probably wasted my money as the majority of the reviews were dreadful. I returned the product to Boots unopened and was able to get a refund after explaining my concerns to the sales assistant. She was very helpful and suggested that I try a sample pot to see how I got on with it. I had enough of the product to try it on just one dark spot on my face which resulted in this one dark spot becoming even more pronounced and difficult to cover up with makeup. I am really annoyed about this obviously and don't understand how Boots can continue to sell this product.

Good
4I am a 59 year old, with brown patches due to sun damage as I am allergic to suntan cream and the sun. So I have been using this for 9 months and for the first 3 to 4 months there looks to be no change, but by 9 months the dark areas have improved by at least 50% if not slightly more. If you don't have much brown colour, are younger or don't give the cream long enough to work it's not for you, but it works really well for me. Now I always put a tiny bit left on finger on clear areas pre-emptying other brown age spots.

Made no difference
1I bought this serum to target a particularly prominent dark spot on my face. Having followed the instructions to the letter and having used up all the serum, there is no visible difference.

Doesn’t work!
1Used it for a month on a particularly bad area, no changes whatsoever! Was offered my money back .....save your money!

Very Pleased
4I have been using this product since it was introduced and I would recommend it. I think people who are displeased with it expect instant results. I have used three tubes now night and morning rubbing in well to penetrate the epidermis and my dark spots have faded really well. Give it a chance!
