What happened to your Advanced Retinol 1.5% Complex Night Concentrate?

It’s not gone anywhere – it’s just got a new name! Our 0.3% Night Concentrate is exactly the same formulation. So, why the change from 1.5% to 0.3%? The 1.5% in our previous name actually referred to the greater retinol blend in the product, comprising 0.3% pure retinol, a retinol optimiser and a retinol soother. With the launch of our full Pure Retinol range, we wanted to make it as simple as possible for you to navigate our full retinol offering. So, we decided to specifically call out the precise percentage of pure retinol in our products – hence the incorporation of that 0.3% stat into the name. With all this talk about ingredients, we think it’s time we looked at them a little more closely…

The ingredients that make up the science

1. Pure retinol

The efficacy of retinol isn’t affected by being in a complex with bisabol and our retinol optimiser (an encapsulation system designed to slowly release retinol through the night). MATRIXYL isn’t part of this complex, but acts as an additional complementary ingredient which works alongside the complex in order to help deliver our serums’ clinically proven age-defying results.
