Poor Foundation
1I have been searching for the perfect foundation for about 8 years, changing every time and nothing ever seems to be right, if its not one thing its another! After seeing the new advert for the colour matching system I decided to give this a go. As I am extremely pale i find it very hard when it comes to foundation, as usual I was matched up with the lightest colour. It looked great in the shop lighting when the girl at the counter put it on me, however when I was on my own it was completely different. The colour was orangy, the texture wasnt right, it felt sticky on my face, it did not cover any imperfections, and it certainly didnt last all day leaving my face patchy. Definately not worth £14.00 for this, I won't be buying again.

Long wearing yet natural looking foundation
5I haven't used a No7 foundation for years (although I seem to have bought loads of other brands and never worn them because the colour looked all wrong) but bought this after trying the Match Made service; the finish is really natural - looks like healthy skin, not too matte or sheeny - and lasts well throughout the day. It covers imperfections well yet doesn't look at all heavy. I would never have chosen the shade the Match Made service picked out for me because it looks too pink/cool in the bottle (and indeed on my hand when I dispense it before applying with a brush) but it blends in imperceptibly and doesn't turn orange - the problem I had when buying foundations in the past. I cannot recommend the foundation itself or the Match Made service highly enough.

Sadly I didn't stay perfect...
2I wanted to love this. I adored the whole colour match service, which matched me to Calico, the palest shade. I bought the Stay Perfect in liquid AND the compact, thinking all the prayers were answered. Sadly the finish was rather imperfect, despite the use of a few different primers, it highlighted my pores, made me look rather dry in places, and oil broke through leaving it separated and patchy. The compact gave that horrid bumpy texture to my nose too. I'm so sad, I wanted to love it!

Fab product
5I went to a large Boots store to have my foundation colour matched. The machine identified me as a 'honey' complexion and the NO7 consultant went through all the benefits of the product before applying them to my skin. I opted to take a sample and try the product at home for myself. It was a perfect match, applies flawlessly and gives great all-day coverage. Of course i returned to purchase the product! Would recommend this product to everybody!

I'll never use another brand again!
5My mother, who is in her 70s, wanted a new foundation & i took her along to our local Boots to have her foundation matched to her skin tone. I ended up getting mine done too & i think it's safe to say that neither of us will ever use another brand of foundation again. We both ended up with the same shade, though her foundation was a different 1 from mine as I work long hours & require a foundation which which lasts all day. This 1 doesn't disappoint. Only problem i have is that the shade of foundation isn't printed on the bottle & i have forgotten which shade i am.

great coverage and feel
5i went in to have my colour matched and i am really happy with the results, great coverage, silky feel and matches my skin shade. slightly expensive but worth it as it lasts a while.

FANTASTIC!!!!
5I have always struggled to find a good foundation... until now! I visited Boots for a colour match consultation and had a good chat with the assistant about suitable products for my oily skin. She started off by applying the No 7 Beautiful Skin moisturiser for oily skin, and then the Stay Perfect Liquid foundation. It looked great and I was really pleased. I ended up buying the moisturiser, foundation and brush (3 for 2 offer). I was worried about if it would look the same when I did it myself but I must admit it looked fab. Have received lots of compliments and been recommending the No 7 Range!

excellent staying power
5Have use Stay perfect foundation for some years now.It is excellent at staying put gives good coverage.The new match made service is superb have now found the correct colour at last to match my skin.A big thank-you to boots no7 assistant in London Colney.

Stay Perfect, Perfect Match
5As soon as I heard about the new match service I popped down to my local store. Being very pale with combination skin, I always struggled to find a foundation that didn't look orange or make me look like a human reflector. Found my perfect match thanks to the assistant; no surprises I matched with the palest shade! I chose the stay perfect because after a busy day working in the hospital I still need to look my best so I don't frighten the patients. This foundation really does stay put and prevents excessive shine!

Speechless about this foundation!!
5I have always had oily skin and as a busy mother of 2 can do without touching up every hour or so. I went to boots and was looking at the new range and decided on this although a little more expensive than I would like to spent it is worth every penny!! I put this on then had to run to the shops then park then bake cakes and run to the hairdressers and you would have though I only did my make up minutes ago!! This foundation is fantastic and deffinately does what it says on the bottle which I was optimistic about. Well worth a try if you have oily skin, I now stay shine free all day!!
