good product but not long lasting
4Used this same foundation for about a year now. Overall fairly good product, perfect colour for my skin tone, easy to apply and light on the skin but I find it doesn't last and throughout the day can become a little patchy.

Disappointment.
2I got colour matched in store then bought this foundation, it was great as it was going on and was a very good match, but a few minutes after it had set it started getting darker. After about ten minute I was left with an orange face, nowhere near the colour it was at first. I have tried it multiple times, all with the same result. Coverage could be better, formula was fine.

Dissapointed after reading reviews.
4Was so excited to purchase this product, but sadly was not quite what I was expecting. After getting my skin tested with the no7 calculator, i still feel it is a little dark but dont want to change colour as it's clea thats my skin tone. Because of this the foundation leaves a harsh line around face. Its quite expensive for what it is and difficult to blend. the '24 hours' stay is misleading as mine seems to wear off after 2 or 3 hours.. BUT good coverage of blemishes, nice and light doesn't feel too caked on the skin.

5Well i have tried many foundations over the years and have always given up as i hate it when you just know you are wearing foundation and you and others can see it and it shouldnt be visiable. My friend advised to try this with the match and test service and think it is fantastic. Have used it now for quite some time and can't see me ever changing it. Thank you Boots!

Over-rated :-(
3I was colour matched in store and it confirmed what I always thought....even though my skin is pale, it has warm tones and it slightly yellow. I was impressed with the colour-matching but the foundation itself.....not so much. I found the foundation was quite cakey. I buffed it in with a foundation buffer brush, like I have with every foundation I have used and it just didn't look natural. The coverage wasn't great, it made my skin look patchy. I have combination skin and use a high-end primer and I never have problems like this. I was swayed by the price and the colour match system but I honestly wouldn't recommend it, the foundation is a let-down and I felt like it had melted by the end of the day, so not exactly giving the longevity that it advertises.

5WOW!! This is my new favourite foundation and yes I have bought plenty of it. I have awful pale skin. I don't tan, I just burn. My skin can't handle the sun and yes unfortunately I live in sunny Cornwall. I gave up on foundation at one point, I found them too oily and to orange. I find this foundation incredible. I use 'Calico'. It's very light in colour. I don't want to sound cheesy like they do on certain tv adverts but this foundation really does glide over my skin. So much so that I don't even end up using that much. I get bad pores on my nose and this just covers them up. Its that good I don't even use concealer anymore- and that's saying something ladies!! Pores, blemishes, bags under eyes all gone with this product. I only wish this had been around when I was really conscious of my skin when I was at school. I would seriously recommend if you're a young girl or a mum wondering what to get go into boots and buy this. You wont regret it.

Looks lovely, coverage could be better
4I have dry skin and need a foundation that doesn't make my skin look flaky or a bit 'dead' but also that stays on well throughout the day. Both of these boxes are ticked with this product and compared to other long lasting foundations it's actually quite coloured (I find others for example double wear and max factor all day flawless quite greyish in tone). I went for warm ivory and it's a lovely slight yellow colour. However, the coverage isn't brilliant. I suffer from redness around my nose especially and I have to either build it up or use concealer which I don't really like doing around my nose as it clogs pores. Also, if you have break outs, it won't cover them so don't bother if you have problem skin. But if you want a nice finish to your foundation that lasts and you have perfect skin then you will love it.

5I have really pale skin so find it hard to find a colour that matches, saw the match made service on tv so gave it a go and it is brilliant! The foundation looks so nice and natural and i can't even feel its there. Got it on 3 for 2 so i got the concealer and new mascara and I got a free eyeliner when I got the mascara! So well worth the money, will be re buying!!

Moderate coverage, great colour
4I have super-sensitive, combination skin which is prone to breakouts. After using Clinique's Anti-Blemish Solutions in the lightest colour for years, I decided to look for a new foundation which matched the colour of my skin more accurately. After being tested in store by a very helpful No 7 assistant, I was given a few samples of ranges and colour and, after testing for a week, I purchased Stay Perfect in Calico, the lightest shade. The foundation comes in a glass bottle with a pump lid, which I like because it's more precise and hygienic. The colour is an excellent match and makes me realise just how orange my face looked whilst wearing my other foundation, even in the lightest colour. The texture is great too; one squirt is sufficient to give coverage across my face; I apply with a brush and it blends very easily without streaks and doesn't cake at all, something I found to be a problem with the my other foundation. I'd say coverage is moderate; it doesn't cover some residual marks I have, but it really evens out my skin tone and doesn't feel at all heavy. Personally, it wouldn't look great after 24 hours on me, but as I mention above, I have combination skin and the oily parts tend to get very oily, so I wouldn't expect it to. The SPF is a bonus as is the price, having been used to paying a good £10 more. All in all I'm very pleased; my sensitive skin hasn't had any adverse reaction after 3 weeks, looks a lot better and gets additional protection from the SPF. I shall certainly buy again.

Disappointed
2I used to love this foundation. Tried every brand of foundation from the most expensive to the cheapest and stuck with this one for a good few years now as it was perfect! However I've been really disappointed lately as it seems to be quite watery and the coverage is not as good. I feel I have to put more on to get the coverage and I don't think it lasts as long. I've been reading up and I can see it's not just myself that's having this problem. It's a shame you changed such a good product. I now had to start the search of finding a new foundation!
