it's good, BUT WHY IS IT GREY?
4i've used the shade honey which i was matched with for a few months and i've just noticed in the sun i look grey which i'm not really pleased with it. overall its a good foundation

Good product
3First let me tell you about my skin. I am really pale, I have acne, really oily skin but dry patches around my spots due to the treatment I am using. I have this foundation in the lightest shade and it is slightly too dark for me so I wish that No7 would offer shades for pale skin a bit more. I think that the foundation applies well but gives a slightly tinge of colour so I usually have to wait 5 minutes before applying more product. I think that this foundation would be good for all skin types as it applied well in my oily and dry areas, however, it didn't offer a lot of coverage. I did however, like the packaging as I like the pump style and you only need a small amount of product. Overall, I would say that it is an average product but not enough coverage for me :(

It's ok
3I bought this instead of the este Lauder double wear that I usually buy, as I was told it was no7s alternative and about a tenner cheaper. Benefits: silky application and perfect (really perfect) colour match. Has that lovely makeup smell that reminds me of my mum and blends well. Drawbacks: when applied with a brush the effect was streaky so have found needs to be put on with fingers. Didn't 'stay put' quite as long or as well as I had hoped- but maybe this was an unrealistic expectation after using double wear for so long. Eye makeup (eyeliner) seems to slide when wearing this foundation. Over all this is a good foundation especially for the price but not quite as comparable to my old faithful as it had been touted.... I would recommend as a daily foundation but for 'special occasions' I'd revert to double wear.....

Fantastic!
5I have bad psoriasis all over my body but its terrible on my face. I have tried so many different lotions, potions and foundations. My most recent before this was estee lauder which I found quite expensive and only lasted me 4weeks so I decided to try No7 on a recommendation. Cant rate this highly enough! Absolutely brilliant coverage, nice and even, blends well and great lasting power. I have it on from 6:30am until around 11pm and have no need to reapply or touch up, had compliments from many people about how great it looks. Very highly recommended!!

Nearly True to Skin Color
4The foundation has a lovely consistency with medium buildable coverage. It's been quite kind to covering inflamed redness on my skin. Stays on for most of the day. Sets nicely. Good range of colors in the No7 range. I chose this to replace my very expensive foundation for day to day make up and I must say No7 have a brilliant range of products and their quality is matched against more premium brands.

Lovely Foundation that does stay perfect
5I had been searching for a new foundation and tried all the more expensive brands but didn't find any that matched my skintone. I had previously bought the Boots No7 Lift and Luminate but wasn't too keen on the dewy finish and although I'd been colour matched to Warm Ivory I found it made my face look grey. I thought I'd give this foundation a go and got colour matched again and this time the colour was Warm Beige. I'm so glad I did, this foundation is lovely and the colour is perfect. It has a semi matt finish and you don't feel like you're wearing any makeup. I wore it for ten hours and it looked the same as it did when I first applied it. Would definately recommend this for all ages.

overall good
4I really struggle to find foundation that matches my skin tone so having the boots team match me up was a big plus to me! They recommended this for my skin type and for the most part I really like it, however if my skin is particularly oily that day then this is not great, it just slides off my skin and can make the rest of it look dull. Not a recommendation for people with really oily skin but if you have normal to dry skin this should be great!

5I had the match maker done and i have the calico shade. Can honestly say it is the perfect match for my skin, I always ended up getting foundations that were too dark or made me look orange, this is perfect and looks lovely when I use a foundation brush to apply it. Will be using this a lot!.,

Great coverage, even with my dry skin
5I have never been a big user of foundation, due to not being able to find the right colour and consistency, so many other products have dried the skin on my forehead look flaky, but I went to a No. 7 stall and got the perfect match service, and this was what the make up expert recommended, as well as giving me a sample pot of primer. The colour was much lighter than I would have picked, and it works so well with my skin, and with the help of the picture primer, there are no dry forehead issues! It gives a decent coverage without feeling heavy (another issue with previous make up) and lasts so well, as I am really bad for rubbing my face constantly. I am a convert to wearing foundation!

Nice foundation but had to exchange it
4The foundation is nice enough, not as long lasting as I'd hoped but for the price not bad. The problem was with the Colour Match service, the adviser used the gadget and matched me to Cool Ivory. I did say I thought it much too dark but she convinced me that the machine never lies and it would be perfect in daylight. I bought the foundation and the powder but the first time I used them several of my friends and family pointed out that my face was now several shades darker than my neck, not a good look!! I returned the foundation and it was exchanged with no problem for the lightest shade which does match well, but just be aware that the new colour match gadget is far from infallible. If you think it's too dark or light for you don't buy before trying a sample no matter how enthusiastic the adviser is.
