usually I would recommend this.
1I have been using this product for as long as I can remember, I would usually recommend this to friend. I recently bought a new one & noticed a change in the look to the pencil, not only that this pencil had been a complete waist of time, it does not work on the eyes & feels uncomfortable to try to put on. I am really disappointed & can't understand why No7 has changed this.

Shockingly bad product
1I have been a big fan of No7 products for many years. I have been buying the Amazing Eyes pencils for years in Brown and Camouflage. The Brown was easy and quick to apply, a fantastic stony greyish brown (not too red) and stayed on, the best eyeliner I ever used, my absolute staple and favourite. HOW did this ghastly new formulation get through even the most preliminary testing? It is hard and 'draggy' and basically doesnt leave any colour on the lid - I have tried super-sharpening it, rubbing it on tissue and running it under warm water. It's astonishingly bad and deserves minus stars as it is not fit for purpose. PLEASE FIX IT. Oh, and please do not change the formulation of the beautiful Camouflage pencil unless you want to make me cry (again).

Packaging is changed but so is the pencil
1We all used to love this pencil because it was soft to the eye. The girls used to always pinch it out of my bathroom so I thought I'll give them each one and buy myself a new one. First of all one of them came broken in the box. I went back to the shop to have it exchanged. i then asked if the product had changed too and brought my old pencil in but was guaranteed that it was the same product. Real shame but not sure I'll buy it again. A REAL SHAME!!!

So disappointed
1The crayon is too hard. I've tried sharpening it, wiping the surface off - anything I can think of but it is OK when tried on my hand but in the delicate eye area it is completely useless. Hard and dry from day one. It won't smudge and leaves bits. So upset. The foam tip on the other end is lovely but I had to buy another eyeliner in another brand.

have been using this eye pencil since it came out some years ago. This new version is a different formula, not soft enough to easily put on eyelids.
1different formula - same colour name but not nearly as soft as old version which I have used since it first came out, returned for a credit. have found a similar one GRAPHITE in Estee Lauder range which is virtually the same as the old version so am satisfird but it is much more expensive. Am really disappointed at this change. Why do this when it did not need to be . C.Symons

Do not buy
1You would be wasting your money. Application is useless, the colour is almost impossible to apply. Why this product is still on sale is beyond me. It should be taken off shelves immediately.

Have been using this product for years, never again.
1If it ain't broke, don't fix it!! The new formula is horrendous. I have been using this eye pencil for years and used to love it's application. I found it stayed put much better than some other pencils that always seemed to smudge. It always created a sharp line and was a great colour. I have nothing good to say about the new formula. It is simply awful. The point does not stay sharp like the old one. I have to sharpen it before every application and the 'lead' always breaks. Seems to be hollow in the centre?!? Also, if I get within two inches from the end it just runs outs?! Registered on here to specifically voice my disappointment about this product. Will have to find a new favourite. Sort it out Boots.

3Good product, only a small criticism is the lid does not stay on which is a little anoying as pencil makes a mess in my makeup bag.

Absolutely awful
1As many other reviewers have stated, what was previousy a brilliant product which I have used and loved for years, has been changed and ruined. Please, please bring back the old formula, I dont know what I'll do otherwise.

Please bring the old version back!!
1The old version of this in Brown is my absolute favourite. The colour was perfect, not too red, not too grey. The texture was great, much better than many high-end products. I can't believe such a great product has been discontinued. If the manufacturing cost becomes too high, then raise the price! Don't change the formula because of that!!!! Bring the old version back pleaseeee!!!!!
