1Stay Perfect... really!!.. This eyes pencil did not work for me, there's was no definition at all!!!.... It worked better on the back of my hand!!!.... Not Happy with this product!!.... :-(

Why change something that was always a good product No7? !!
1I have been buying this eye pencil for years and thought prehaps it had been improved, when I saw that it had been re-packaged. However it is awful! Did the makers actually bother to test it? Its is bad as the other reviews say it is. Im now looking elsewhere for an alternative. Such a shame when Ive always been a faithful follower of No 7:-(

Disappointing pencil, bring back the old one!
1I'm so glad I'm not the only one disappointed with this pencil and wishing I'd stockpiled the old one. Why they changed it I don't know but it's truly awful! The new one snaps easily, irritates my eyes, doesn't apply easy and does not last as it needs constant sharpening. It just looks and feels like a really cheap pencil. Which it isn't! I'm just after writing a passionate letter to No. 7 at Boots and have referred them to the reviews page. Yes I have a life haha! But I'm a live musician and use eyeliner on a daily basis. This was my favourite pencil of all time and I did get compliments on it, and recommended it to loads of people. I really am genuinely upset that they've stopped it. I urge you all to write and implore them to bring back the old one :) Not only was it better quality but it looked better too. The gold was lovely and made it look really stylish. Won't be buying again for sure and don't know what to use when my stash of the older ones runs out? Will need to start the tedious and money consuming process of finding the right pencil again!

waste of money
1purchased this yesterday and decided to try it this morning. I found it just didn't work so i sharpened it and it still would not work. Had to scrub it on the back of my hand to get a result. Wasn't going to to that to my eyes so took it back and got a refund. Do NOT buy!!!!!!

Waste of money
1Thank goodness - having read the reviews I realise it isn't just me who thinks this product is different. I've tried everything to get the pencils to smudge as the old ones did. The ladies in my local Boots changed one but it was no better. They suggested warming it, sharpening it and wiping it on a tissue before use. The pencils are now in the waste bin!!!!!

Rubbish!
1I was totally happy with this product BEFORE it was changed. Now it is unusable! I am taking it back tomorrow for a refund!

Very difficult to apply
1Wish I had read the previous reviews before wasting my money. Only bought this as I had a voucher for money off. The pencil is so hard you drag the delicate eye area trying to apply it and then the application is very faint. Sorry but have been put off the quality of No7 for now. Definitely not recommended.

Dreadful product!
1I used to use this No7 eyeliner when it had a gold lid. It was brilliant. This new one is absolute rubbish. I bought it only 2 weeks ago and due to constantly needing sharpening, is almost finished. It does not glide on like the previous one and doesn't give a clean line. I shan't be buying another one!! I bought a cheap £1 eyeliner the other day and it's fantastic. Come on No7, get your act in gear!!!

WHY? Why change a product I have loved for years?!
1I am so upset that Boots have changed the formulas of several no 7 make up items including these pencils. I have been faithfully using these for years, the black was fabulous for evening intense and long lasting and the blue grey made my eyes pop like sapphires! Now?!! Oh my god I couldn't believe how bad this product is. Scraped my eyelid, unblendable, poor pigments and the colours are different. I still have some of the old pencils and if I'd known they were being discontinued I would have stockpiled. I am also unhappy with the tinted moisturiser formula change. Why change products that people love?

Much improved
4The colour and formula for me is far superior to the old brown, which was easy to apply, but which I found too light/reddish a brown for my grey eyes and which did not define them enough. The M/C assistant at No 7 told me this was the exact same formula & colour, which it is not. I think the staff should know what they are selling when new versions are introduced. It is a darker and more flattering brown and I find just as easy to apply as before and longer wearing. I would have given 5 stars, but the smudger broke off on my last two so I am returning the last one to be changed. I used to like the old grey,which has now gone, but that was a different formula to the old brown any way and was almost impossible to apply. I am in the minority, it seems, it preferring this darker brown.
