What is going on with this eyeliner?
1Oh No7... I really would expect so much more... I've never used this eyeliner previously so I cannot comment on the previous formula like other reviews. However I have recently been trying a few to see which might be best for me, given that it is a product I use daily. No7 'Amazing' Eyes Pencil? The worst quality yet and definitely not one of the cheapest. It's really difficult to get it to draw on your hand, never mind on your delicate eye! The pencil just seems far to 'hard' and when you try and use the smudge tool it seems to make it almost chip and break away - not attractive! I'm really quite shocked that No7 don't test their products before launch as there is no way that anyone would have rated this. I'll be far more doubtful about any future product purchases now which is a shame as I always thought they were a brand I could rely on...

Very disappointed!!!
1I used the old design eye pencil with no problem at all....bought this new design eye pencil with horrible quality...such a waste of money... I will never ever buy this again or recommend to other people to buy it If the boost sale's team see this comment...or all the previous comment left by other customers, please fix the problem and don't sell rubbish customer!

This product simply does not work.
1Bought two as replacements but could not get either of them to work whereas the originals were great and worked perfectly and very easily. They are useless and very harsh on the skin. Why change something that had worked perfectly. I now have only an inch left of one of the originals and cannot find anything else as good.

This product though still good value is rather disappointing in application
3I have used number 7 eye pencils for some years and have always been very pleased with the results. However, this time I have been disappointed because it is not as smooth to apply and barely shows up when applied. I don't like heavy eye liners, but I do like to see, when I have applied the pencil, that I have put it on. I don't know if there has been a change to this product, but it is just not as good or as smooth as it has been in the past and I will not be using it again.

This product is a poor substitute for previous
1The colour is weak and several coats have to be applied. It is hard and you end up dragging skin to get any colour on lids - not good. It doesn't sharpen easily. The centre core cracks and breaks away in hard flakes. A very very poor substitute for the pencil previous marketed, without the Stay Perfect logo on the side.

disappointing
1I bought this thinking it would be excellent as i am a huge fan of no 7 i was so wrong the colour doesnt come out unless u put extreme pressure on it and that is not good for the eye area at all,basically its horrible

Disappointing considering the brand
2I am usually a massive fan of No. 7 products but this just doesn't live up to the rest. It is extremely difficult to get any colour out of it and requires a lot of pressure. This is quite poor considering the price when there are a lot of brands which are half the price and much more creamy and have much better lasting power.

AWFUL, UNUSABLE, RIPS SKIN AND LEAVES NO BLACK COLOUR!
1I am so disappointed Boots have chnaged this eyeliner, which used to be my favourite after years of trying everything from collection 200 through to Dior this one was the best. My hoard recently ran out so i went to get another ans as it was 3 for 2 I checked with the assistant it was still the same which she assured me it was and it was just the packaging that had changed so i bought 3. You cant get any colour or black to transfer with continually dragging this over your eyes which is incredibly sore and inefficient leaving it unusable. I have now swapped to a barry m one which is half the price, but wish they still sold the old version. looking at the rest of the reviews its many people all having the same issue so come on no 7, sort it out, did you even test this before changing it??

what happened!?
1i don't usually write reviews but felt this one needed doing! I used to use this product everyday and bought again multiple times, it was great. Since then i used a different brand but thought i'd go back to no7 because i remember how good it was. What a mistake! I only bought it yesterday and i tried it this morning, and literally no colour came off the pencil whatsoever. With eyeliner, you want a couple of strokes and it to be done. With this one, i spent about 5 mins trying to make it work! There is still barely any colour there (i have the black one) and i'm taking it back on tuesday! Really disappointed, this has made me think again about no7. I'm glad i'm not alone on this, reading through the reviews it seems everyone is having the same trouble. The thing that I find strange is that surely they must have tested it before they started to manufacturer/sell it? Surely they must know how bad it is!?

Nothing like the old No7 eyeliner. Hard and uncomfortable to apply
1After 7 years of the same liner I am looking elsewhere, sadly. It is hard to apply, which on a delicate undereye area is not good. It has nothing on their old liner...why change a winning formula??
