Not as bad as people have said
4I brought this product because I needed a replacement for my previous one that had been discontinued. I agree with the comments about how it is hard to apply and scratchy, however, if you sharpen it once it works like a dream for the rest of its life. I don't know if its how it is made and has some sort of film over it but once you sharpen it once it becomes very soft and the application is really smooth and the effect is bold. I hope that all who have had trouble with this see this and they can finally use the eyeliner that they have paid good money for :)

A sad moment for a No 7 product.
1This product does not seem to want to leave any mark on my skin apart from with great pressure which is not suitable for around my eyes. I have had no success in applying this product around my eyes. I bought the product trusting the brand, which in this case I can see was a mistake. Boots please fix this product,it does not do what it is designed for.

1I have always bought my eye pencils from Boots No.7 however these are the worst I have ever had. I bought a blue one but it is not blue and definitely does not apply well to the eyes. Very very disappointed

Disappointing
1This pencil was not what I was expecting as it is far too hard - I was wanting a really soft eye pencil and I can't think how you would use this one anywhere in the eye area.

to hard for eyes
1tried this product in the shop seemed okay.. when I tried it at home I found the nib to be hard and scratchy on the eyes not very soft in texture, does not deliver much in the colour. Very frustrating as everything else bought at the same time was fine. Wish I had stuck with my YSL eye liner much creamer texture and smooth to apply.

Useless pencil
1Nice colour (deepest blue) but completely useless. Too hard/dry eye pencil. It is impossible to apply any colour on the eyes. I do not recommend.

Terrible
1I bought this recently with the £3 off coupon and it was a complete waste of money. It didn't bring up any colour whatsoever when used and instead actually hurt my eyelid when trying to apply it. My advice is don't buy this as any one I know who has tried it agrees that it's not a good product

This product has changed
1I have been using this type of eye pencil for years, but I won't be buying it again because it appears to have changed for the worse. The 'lead' is harder and paler than it used to be and so barely leaves a mark. I hope they start making the old version again...

Pencil very hard and difficult to get any colour onto my eyes.
1I did not like this product as I found it almost impossible to get any colour on to my eyes. The pencil seemed very hard. I bought two different colours in this pencil type, and had the same problem with both. The colours look lovely, but didn't work well for me at all.
