Confused By Bad Reviews
5Really confused by bad reviews. Some users have obviously had an adverse reaction. However I would give it a try as I have found it to be excellent. I did not find the smell or texture bad and when using at night under the cream I can actually feel my skin tightening. Also if when ill I don't bother with it my skin definitely looks different. Not so glowing and dry. Some people have problems but I would give it a go as for some of us it is a great product.

No difference at all!
1Having seen an article about this new "miracle" serum in the press, I thought I'd give this a go and forgo my usual serum which is four times the price. It applies can easily enough but I noticed it was starting to flake off almost immediately and is absolutely terrible under makeup. I persevered because I had bought the larger size and I really wanted to believe in the science behind the claims. After nearly two months of use, I could see no difference whatsoever having used it religiously combined with other creams meant to compliment this from the range. So all in all an outright waste of money, no visible difference and I couldn't wait to go back to my usual serum.

Fragranced!
1What a shame...so many lovely ingredients contained within this product, but as ion usual 'No.7' style, they went and added a huge irritant....perfume. WHY? There are a few ingredients here that could be worthwhile, ascorbic acid, hyaluronate, but any good will quickly be undone by the evil presence of 'parfum'! You do not need to smell the fragrance in order for it to be irritating your skin. I was bought this as a gift and I shall not use it on my face...perhaps I'll use it on the decollete, but that will be about it.

Excellent product does what it promises
5Have used this product for a long time and love the results. I now have an allergic reaction to something. Narrowed down to 3 things so wondered if you have changed any ingredients?

Loving The New 'MULTI ACTION Serum'
5I have been using the Serum for three weeks now and I must say I like it very much. It applies really well, much the very same as the Protect and Perfect Serum, which stands out on its own. Having the nose of a bloodhound, I can't say I have noticed a fake suntan lotion smell that one of the former reviewers reported on these boards. Maybe one was picked up from a faulty batch which could have been possible. That's a shame. I do hope it was sorted out. In my situation, I would have returned it for an exchange or refund. My own tube of Serum is very slightly fragranced. I detect a light wiff of something in there; A nondescript, really quite pleasant very faint scent, even although the Serum is supposed to be for sensitive skin. The burning question is, Will I be using it from now on? Well i've already bought my second tube, and I haven't finished my first one yet. There's your answer.

Doesn't work
2Bought this instead of my usual Nip and Fab Dragon Blood serum but it is no where near as good plus it is more than double the price. With the Nip and Fab my forehead wrinkles improved no end but with the No.7 they have appeared again!

Disappointing
1I have used protect and perfect for years and decided to try the newest of the serum trio. I have never had problems before but I too found I had a reaction to the newest one with red blister type spots. They disappeared when I stopped using the face and neck serum. To their credit, I told my local Boots store about the problem and they replaced mine for the older version immediately. Many thanks for that. I'm sure most people will have no problems at all but for some it may cause similar problems to mine.

It's ok not worth the price though
3I've only recently tried this product I luckily asked for a sample first as my skin is sensitive. It doesn't smell great and leaves like a film on your skin a bit like peel off face mask skin looks nice but if you rub it it goes bitty. Im just glad I had a sample first as I wouldn't pay the price for it but maybe it's just not suited to my skin.

Sore patches
1I use No 7 frequently and purchased the new Face and Neck Multi Action Serum. Unfortunately I found I had the the same reaction as many women and developed red stinging and raised patches on my face. Disappointing as my skin isn't sensitive usually. I'll go back to Protect and Perfect.
