Perfect choice
4Love this day and night cream, lovely hydrating leaves skin feeling great, still trying to get used to new packaging

Lovely texture
4I got this as part of a giftset and I was so impressed by it! It felt so lovely on my skin and smelt amazing. The cumbersome plastic packaging has now been replaced so that's a plus. I did like the tight seal on the plastic packaging though. I only had one jar so I can't say for sure that I saw an effect but I did think that my skin looked good whilst using it. The downside to the light texture is that one jar only lasts about 2 months, so I would need to find this on a good offer as I think it is a little expensive.

Great new packaging
5Love the new packaging which is fully recyclable. Good to see Boots are taking a conscientious approach in spite of some negative reviews from people who are clearly more concerned about how it looks than protecting the planet! I think glass is a lot more classy than plastic any day. Well done Boots, let’s have more of the same.

Jars!
4I really don't know why people are moaning about the glass jars! The range used to be in lovely heavy glass jars before,so i welcome the change in packaging. These jars are simple and much better then the previous plastic/resin jars plus recyclable,what more can you ask....Maybe lower in price to say £20 or under boots for your higher priced creams.

1I am very disappointed in the newly packaged No. 7 Protect and Perfect Intense Advanced Day Cream - it is definitely a lot thinner and I need more. It doesn`t give a good finish. Why change a good product? I will be looking elsewhere for another moisturiser having used this one for a very long time.

Moisturising but feels and smells like suncream
3Moisturising cream but does not feel as luxurious as the matching night cream. It feels and smells like suncream which is very disappointing as I have used other day creams with SPF that do not feel like suncream. If it had a higher SPF than 15 I may be a bit more understanding as it would be protecting my skin more but I'm disappointed with this product. I did ask via social media if this was how the cream was suppose to feel but the team just told me to return the product if I wasn't happy with it.

Definitely new formula
2The packaging did need changing as far too much plastic in the old but could have made it look so much better than this and does it need to be so heavy? My main problem though is even though they state it is the same formula I’m not convinced it is. I always liked the smell and this isn’t the same, I don’t seem to get the glow with this as I did with the old one. I’ve used No 7 for years but am looking for something else now.

Too Shiny!
3My age puts me in the Lift & Luminate range, so I moved on from my much loved Protect & Perfect, but found the Luminance too much - it just made me look sweaty! So after dutifully working my way through the L&L (I ended up using it on my legs, where the shine is quite nice). I went back to my trusted P&P only to find you've added pearlescent ingredients to this range. You can imagine how fed up I was, especially as I used the 3for2 to stock up! I'm sure the shiny pigments are great under foundation, and it is a great non greasy moisturiser, but please remember lots of us don't use foundation and want a moisturiser that just looks natural. Perhaps you could offer a luminous and a non luminous version? I like to wear a bit of blush and eye make up with bare skin, but this is impossible when you add so much shimmer to the moisturiser - your skin looks shinier where you aren't wearing make-up than where you are. Do us natural look women a favour and dial down the shimmer!
