Very poor
1Have brought this product in the past and been relatively happy with it - I wonder if the formulation has changed. Used 1/4 of the bottle to clean 10 eye/concealer brushes and despite using very generously there was still product left of the bristles. Definitely won't purchase again.

Entirely disappointing
1bought this as a substitute for my Clinique brush cleaner and it was the worst decision I could have made. Firstly the pump is difficult to use, squirting onto a tissue or cloth soaked up far too much product and is wasteful, would much prefer a spray top. Secondly, product took ages to actually clean the brushes and even still you can see eyeshadow left on my white brushes. Thirdly, it left a horrible sticky residue on my hands, I was too scared to use on my more expensive brushes for fear of ruining them, lastly, product has a very strong alcohol smell which makes me worry about then using the brushes on my face as alcohol dries the skin. Very disappointed with this product. Would not recommend to anyone and would definitely not buy again.

Good but would prefer a spray bottle to a pump.
4This is a good makeup brush cleaner BUT I found rather to much product came out of the pump and I found the bottle was going down rather quickly because of this so I transferred the contents to a spray bottle and found that only one short spray was needed to individually clean each one of my eye makeup brushes ( I clean all my brushes each time after I've used them) and only two short sprays were needed to clean my foundation brush. I think this brush cleaner is good value for money but please boots can you consider changing it to a spray bottle rather than a pump?

great cleaner!
5was looking for a cheap brush cleaner, found this, and its great! I tend to pop a bit on a baby wipe, and remove it that way. My brushes look, smell and feel brand new!

Not a great product as made my eyelids very dry!
1I don't have sensitive skin at all but this product made my eyelids dry after cleaning my eye brushes with it. At first I thought it was because I was using the brushes too soon after cleaning them but even after leaving them to dry for a day or two, I still ended up with red dry patches on my eyelids where I had been using the brushes to apply my eyeshadow. After reading the other reviews I thought I'd give it a go but unfortunately it was a complete waste of money. Any chance of a refund, Boots?!

Does the job
2Bought this as a deep cleaner, but after reading the bottle, it is only a 'quick' cleaner and you still need to soak monthly. I find using mild shampoos on my brushes causes acne, so this is why I wanted a specific brush cleaner! On MAC brushes it doesn't really air dry over night and seems to cling in the fibres...and so when applying make up to the skin afterwards, causes some skin sensitivity and acne flare ups. I wouldn't purchase this again but it is okay if you need a quick fix - say if you use different colours a lot on the same brush but no good as a deep cleaner, which is why I purchased it

Very misleading-not what is says on the tin.
2I bought this on line, as the title says 'Make Up Brush Cleaser, thoroughly cleanses and removes make up residue build up. However, on the back it says.....this product is a quick fix if you don't have time to soak your brushes.........Brushes should be deep cleaned every month. So £8 to thoroughly clean brushes, that apparently are not thoroughly clean. Someone is having us on ladies, a baby wipe achieves that. I will not be buying again, and far more careful what I order on line.

Excellent Quick Fix Cleaner
5I like to keep my brushes clean so I use this on them after every use. It dries quickly leaving them ready to go when I next want to use them. Once a month I clean my brushes in a surgical spirit water mix which leaves them hygienically clean and there is no need to rinse out any soapy residue.

Good Brush Cleaner
4This is the first time I have purchased this cleaner and I have found it to be quite good. Doesn't take too much time to clean brush with a tissue. Good amount for the money.
