not the greatest cleaner but good for a quick fix

4

The bottle was hard to open it took a while before the product pumped onto a tissue and when it did it squirted all over the place....used it on my brushes and cleaned the majority of product off but left some on which only a proper deep clean would take away. Great quick fix to cleaning brushes even though you may need to squirt s few pumps to get a better clean

It's a good product for cleaning brushes. But I think, instructions aren't right. When I just pour lotion on a towel and clean brushes like that, bristles get very. But if lotion used as "brush shampoo", wet the brush, but lotion (it's get foamy), rub in palms and wash off. Then you'll get the best effect! P.S I always have a bottle or two spear, just in case:)

serious concerns

1

i have serious concerns over this product. I did what it said in applying some lotion to a kitchen towel and sweeping the bristles back n forth and when they looked almost clean I left them to dry overnight. Come the next morning when I wanted to use them I applied my eyeshadow in the normal manner and then my eyes starting stinging real back and the watering wouldnt stop. I believe that the bristles still have the product on them, even though they were bone dry, I just could not stop my eyes from stinging, I couldnt even open them the vapour was that strong. I think people need to be warned and maybe start to rinse their brushes under cold water to get rid of lotion the bristles have captured. Be aware.

This No7 brush cleaner is fantastic, I clean my makeup brushes once a week. I use kitchen towel & squirt a couple of pumps onto the kitchen towel then I get whatever makeup brush that needs cleaning & I rub it on the kitchen towel a few times & it is spotlessly clean & smelling nice too, When I have cleaned my makeup brushes I place them on kitchen towel on a tray & they don't take long to dry. Once a month I properly wash my makeup brushes in baby shampoo or you can use a face cleanser to clean them also. The No 7 brush cleaner lasts a few months.

everyday brush cleansing

I've found myself repurchasing this cleaner a few times now. It's just so handy - I pump it onto a large tissue to clean all my everyday brushes, and it works just as well with powder, liquid & lipstick. As it says on the bottle, it doesn't get it all out, and you will still need to deep clean your brushes with soap and water, but this is great at maintaining their everyday performance. My only qualm is the price - I think it's really expensive for the alcohol-based cleaner it is, and so try to get it on offer when I can.

ok for liquid make up

really good quick fix for foundation or concealer brushes used for liquid make up, effectively cleaning off most of the build up. But not good for powder brushes. I found that it does not remove powder eye shadows properly and the wet powder sets in the brush making it stiff and unusable. Easily remedied by washing in baby shampoo, There is no substitute for washing brushes properly to keep them at their best

Quick easy cleaner.

Really quick to clean your brushes every couple of days before washing them. Great product. Don't need alot of product either so should last a while!

Pretty standard brush cleanser, good quality

It gets the job done, it's not perfumed, which I appreciate since some fragranced brush cleaners that I've used drive me insane with that odd, sweet smell they have, which is not something you want on your brush- trust me. This is definitely a "pump onto a wipe and swirl your brush" type of cleaner, as opposed to the ones you pour into a jar and stick your brush into, so using that technique here will result in a greasy looking, unpleasant brush. That being said, it's a perfectly nice cleanser and should last you a while as it's a 185 ml bottle, if I remember correctly.

Shamazing!

I love love love this product! I squirt a couple of pumps onto a tissue and wipe my brushes through it and you just watch the make up wash away! The smell isn't too harsh, it lasts for agggeeesss and for £8.50 you can't go wrong! I'd still advise washing your brushes every couple of weeks (depending on how often you use them) with warm soapy water, but using this has added loving ingredients to extend brush life and keep you looking fabulous! Don't hesitate to buy :D

Brilliant!

I purchased this cleanser after viewing a demonstration of the product by a No7 representative at my local Boots. You literally pump it onto the brush, rub the moist brush along a paper towel for example and watch the dirt and make up be removed like paint! Really amazing, will be repurchasing. It is also has a really clean smell to it and made my brushes really soft!
