Really disappointed.
1I used to use the MAC brush cleaner but wanted to opt for something cheaper with more longevity so I thought I'd try this. Unfortunately after about a week of using it to spot clean my eye brushes, it began to irritate my eyes. My eyelids had swollen up, gone bright red and rashy. They were constantly stinging and burning, it hurt to blink. Not impressed at all especially as it's supposed to 'hypo-allergenic'. Not only that but it dried my brushes out. Hopefully a deep cleanse will restore their softness. I really wanted to love this product and maybe it would be great for someone who doesn't have sensitive skin, but after my experience I can safely say I won't ever be repurchasing this product.

Not much of a cleaner
1I don't really see the point of using this because even when you use the cleaner you have to use soap to give your brushes a good clean. I even watched the YouTube video produced by No7 and it wasn't realistic because to wash one brush, you end up using half of the bottle and still that isn't enough.

Gave me a rash
1I tried this product once on my brushes following the recommend steps and it smelt of alcohol and didn't leave my brushes very clean. When I next use this brush on my face I came out in small white pimples around my chin, mouth and nose. definitely don't use if you have sensitive skin as it's very drying and may cause a reaction.

Worst Purchase
1I bought this product thinking it would clean my brushes but no I did'nt do that at all. It left my brushes greasy and still dirty. I bought same thing thinking there was something wrong with the first one I had bought but no such change. I was very disappointed with this product and I highly regret buying it .

Terrible
1I purchased this because I had heard No7 was a good brand and there wasn't any others in my local boots. However I was very disappointed to try it and for it to ruin my brushes. After trying it on one brush I was impression so proceeded to use it on all of my others but when I had finished them all and waited about 1 hour, they were very soapy and unclean. I could not get the soap out so I am very disappointed with this product.

No7 Brush Cleaner
1I am very disappointed with this product. I followed the instructions for cleaning and allowed the brushes to dry overnight. My eyelids are red and flaky and my skin is dry and peeling at my nose. Not up to Boots usual standards I'm afraid.

Keeps things in check
4This is great for keeping brushes clean and soft in between deep cleaning them. It won't remove all make up if you have a large build up on your brushes, so it's still important to give them a really good clean now and then when using this product. I found a good balance of using this cleanser once a week to remove most of the make-up from my brushes, and then proceeding with a deep clean about every month or sooner if they need them. It has a slight smell of nail varnish remover when using to clean brushes, but this isn't too offensive and can't be smelt once your brushes have dried. Overall, I'm pleased with this product.

I love this product
5This product works wonderfully on all my makeup brushes, not just no7 brushes. It takes away all the excess makeup and does not harm the brushes in any way. I love it.

Excellent product
5First time I've used brush cleaner as I normally wash them . But I'm happy I tried this as it's easy to use, just squirt onto tissue and clean brush with it , iv used after every use of brushes with no problems. No need to wash brushes as often . I'd recommend.

Does the job nicely
4When I first used this product I made the mistake of squirting it about 3 times on to 1 brush - DO NOT DO THIS as I was left with endless bubbles! After a bit of trial and error I have found that the best way to use this is to squirt it a few times into a sink of warm, not hot, water and then gently wriggle your brushes around the sides of the sink, ans of course rinse with clean water afterwards. The product doesn't smell bad and it doesn't leave the brushes smelling bad, which is something I found when washing with just soap or shampoo. Definitely worth investing in a proper brush cleaner to do the job.
