Where's ALABASTER?
1Like many women do, I had spent a very long time looking for the perfect foundation. I had finally found my match in the old No7's Lift & Luminate in ALABASTER! I loved it, and became a loyal No7 customer. I'm so disappointed to know that this foundation I loved has been discontinued, and the alternative shades are just no match, even the lightest colour is just too dark!

Surprisingly nice
5I have been using the no7 stay perfect foundation for a while, wanted to try the new lift and luminate I must say I have tried a few no7 foundations now including their instant Radiance. The texture of this foundation is like the stay perfect foundation mixed in with their protect & perfect intense serum, the foundation feels nice on your skin some of the previous people have said it feels heavy, I didn’t need to use a primer with this foundation due to the serum like texture, I apply all my foundation with brushes, in this instance I used a no7 foundation brush and it glides on lovely of course with a brush you use considerably less foundation then using fingers or sponges after applying I had 8 hours wear with no caking or the tea zone meting the foundation away like on some other brands out there. I know lots of people have moaned about the new colours I normally am an NC15 and Calico seems to match me fine this foundation looks natural which is the whole idea of makeup to enhance your natural beauty without looking to fake I think they have got this just right here.

hated this foundation
3I had used stay perfect foundation but wanted a foundation with more coverage so I decided to try this one. Big mistake! It looked darker even though it was the same shade as before and no matter how much powder I put on, it made my face look really shiny! The cover was good but nothing special. I have gone back to stay perfect and will never try anything else.

colour match
3I had the colour match done and i have to say it was a perfect match to my skin tone ( warm ivory ),but i wear makeup because i find my skin tone very dull, i was not happy with the overall finish :(

Great foundation!
5Due to having fair skin I have found it hard over the years to find the correct shade for my skin tone so was so excited when I went into my local boots store for the N07 match made service. I explained to an adviser that I dislike heavy foundation and want a more natural look, she suggested a few foundation but I liked the feeling of the lift & luminate the best. LOVE LOVE LOVE this foundation it's light on the skin, great coverage, gives a nice glow and lasts all day. The only advice I would give is to only use abit at a time as a little goes a long way. Thanks No7 :)

Looked and felt great!
5Went on smoothly, covered my sun damaged facial skin very well with a reasonably small amount applied with fingertips; I'm buying sponges today for even more economy. Didn't feel heavy and didn't settle in the wrinkles. And my face really did feel better - no other way to say it than to say it felt lifted. Lasted for hours and hours even though I was out and about in mist, rain, and then sunny humidity. Removed easily at the end of the day. Money well spent and I will definitely be buying this regularly.

FINALLY SOMETHING THAT LOOKS GREAT
4I have been using many differnet foundations, (but as anyone with really dry skin can relate to) I couldn't find one that would not look cakey either going on or by lunch time have me looking like i was shedding! Iv heard a lot about this new No7 skin colour match so decided to try it. I went to the Liffey Valley, Dublin branch and the No7 rep who looked after me was extremely helpful and very pleasant. She said I was cool beige (which I would never go usually) and she tried shade each way of this also to see what I liked better my self. I was happy with the cool beige and she applied it for me to give me a better look. I loved it! my skin looked so clear and red patches where not showing up like they usually do, also my areas that would be prone to drying out looked great and stayed like that after very nusy day in the heat. I would recommend for anyone who has reallyl dry/blotchy skin.

4This product is very good, it is a pity that the manufacturers change the names. This is very confusing when selecting your usual shade

Great Foundation But.......
4This gives great coverage and feels like a moisturiser on the skin but please bring back Alabaster, the Calico is too dark for us with very pale skin.
