HATE IT!
1After reading poor reviews I decided I wasn't going to replace my old formula lift & luminate foundation but the lady in boots told me that it's really good and she's had lots of customers who love it. I decided to give it a go and was using it for 2 weeks before I had to bin it. It's absolutely awful. I'm covered in spots that I've never suffered with before. It feels really heavy to wear and looks awful around the eyes. It's not dewy at all. Half way through the day it starts looking patchy. What have you done? Bring back the old formula!

Gutted...
2Have used this foundation for years. The new formulation is really disappointing. The finish lacks the previous luminance, sits in fine lines, and the new ‘Calico’ shade is darker than the previous one and there is no lighter shade. Boots - if you have any old stock I would happily buy it from you....

Incredibly disappointed
1Please bring back the old version. Like many of the reviews,I agree that this is not a patch on the old formula. Makes my skin feel heavy and caked, dry and dull. There is no glow. I am also getting spots. Will have to look elsewhere.

The one for me
5I usually don't leave reviews but I will put one down here. I have a very dry skin prone to allergies. I am happy with the product and I've been using it for 5 years now. Sometimes I feel in the mood for trying one of the really expensive ones, but somehow I keep coming back to this one :) Good job!

What have you done?!
1The lift and luminate with the blue lid was without doubt the best affordable foundation for dry skin. It was so natural, and really looked like you weren’t even wearing foundation. I’m gutted that it has been replaced by this, which is nothing like the amazing original. I had one backup of the old foundation, and now I feel like I need to save it since it’s been discontinued. So sad.

Disappointed
1I have been using lift and luminate for quite a long time and loved it but since changing the formula I dont like it anymore. It feels more matt and the colour is darker even though I bought the same colour warm ivory. Also the price went up £2 which is a 12 1/2 per cent. Looking at the reviews I am not the only person that dislikes it. I would only use it again if they went back to the original formula but I cant see that happening.

poor coverage
1the one with the blue lid was great, this product is a poor replacement, i am so glad i asked for a sample to try at home, as if i bought this product it would have been money down the drain, please bring back the the blue lid one.

I love it!
5As a natural ginger with an extremely fair skin tone, it's hard to find a foundation that matches and until recently I didn't even know where to look or what shade would match perfectly however thank you to No7, I have found it! It's easy to apply and blend in, its light weight and sensitive on my skin. Thank you! Now I only wear No7 make up, it's the only make up that matches my skin tone and since I didn't know where to start with make up - their teaching me!

New design not for me
2I have used L&L for years but I do not like the new formula or the new bottle - it is even harder to get the last drops out as the old one. I have tried 3 different foundations in warm ivory and they are all very different colours!

Not what I expected. Dull
1Went into Boots yesterday after seeing the advert for this foundation in their window. Lift and luminate was just the look I was looking for. Got colour matched by the lovely lady and asked for a sample so I could try before I buy. So glad I did. The foundation has no glow at all in fact the opposite. My skin looks dull and matte. How can the description be so wrong. Such a shame as the colour matching is a fantastic service but the product does not live up to it. I was hoping to find a cheaper alternative to my Clinique Even Better Glow bit this certainly isn’t it unfortunately.
