really great foundation!:-)
5When I listened to negative reviews, I would not have this great foundation! My experience is that most young ladies use inappropriate foundation for their age! This foundation is designed for mature skin! The bonus is lifting and contains serum! I think some negative reviews expected miracles from all foundations! if a woman has a skin in a desolate state or has acne, no foundation will solve her problem completely. The problem with the skin will be solved by the perfect everyday skin care, careful skin and skin creams designed for the age of that lady or woman. If the girl has acne, a doctor, dermatologist, will also help. This foundation is great for me! I am a 47 year old woman. I have no problems with the skin and I do not have it either dry or oily. My skin is nice even after wearing This foundry is a coverage medium, but my skin is fully covered. But it does not make a mask coating and looks very natural! I do not use the powder and even after applying this foundation I do not need to powder the skin! My skin is bright, with a subtle touch, but the shade of warm ivory is great for me! maybe my review will help someone!

Great Foundation
5I think the reviews give this foundation a bad name. I personally really like it. It’s a good coverage and not too drying on my cheeks whilst lasting on my oily t zone. Good price too. People may have liked the “old version” but no reason to give this a bad review!

Horrendous!
1I was desperate for a moisturising foundation that would give my dry, ageing skin some luminosity and this was recommended by the No 7 consultant. I was shade matched - Cool Vanilla or Cool Ivory if I wanted a little more colour. I thought I’d finally found “the” foundation until I tried it! Absolutely no luminosity whatsoever and my skin looked 10 years older. After 30 minutes my face felt really tight and dry, the foundation was managing to look dry and caked and, to add insult to Injury, the colour oxidised to a lovely shade of orange! I was forced to remove all my make up and start again. To say I am deeply disappointed is a huge understatement. I cannot understand how a product description can be so misleading and after reading all of the reviews, I’m one of very many disappointed customers. I never tried the original that this replaced but, judging by reviewers comments, it was everything I’ve been searching for and I’m left wondering what on earth Boots were thinking of. I also feel that in view of all of the negative comments they ought to take note and rectify - so many people cannot be wrong! It is not a cheap product So ought to deliver on its promises. Very very disappointed. If it was possible I’d have awarded it a zero rating! My search goes on

Great coverage
5I bought this a few months ago and am about to go and buy another one. I used to use another brand but as that brand tested on animals I wanted to buy a cruelty free one that had good coverage. I have never found one that covered that well until I bought this one. It's not heavy and it's easy to apply - I used a make-up brush and the colour I use looks much more natural than my previous one, it's also a lot cheaper. So as far as I'm concerned, it's an all round winner. Well done Boots!

Oh dear Boots what have you done!!!
1Have used L and L with blue band on bottle, excellent product, coverage with beautiful glow. Needed to buy another before my daughters wedding and was given they new product. Absolutely awful in comparison with the old version drying on skin and no glow also clogged around eyes. I then had no option but to find the old product on Amazon and paid £38!!! Thanks a bunch. Please bring back the old version.

Perfect match, easy to apply
4I've had this foundation for about a year (never had the old version, can't comment on that). It matches my skin better than some more expensive brands. Excellent coverage (smooth with a stippling brush), no problem with colour change or patchiness during the day (I usually wear primer and setting spray). I have very sensitive skin, and this doesn't irritate my skin or cause breakouts (the scent is minimal and inoffensive). It does feel heavy on, but it's full coverage, so I suppose that's to be expected. I'd heartily recommend the No 7 match made service.

Very Disappointed customer
1I have used the L&L foundation in the Wheat colour for years and absolutely loved it. The formula has now changed as the serum has been added and it is awful!!! The colour is different and so is the texture. The original did luminate the skin, but this new version doesn't, it leaves the skin dull and the colour is patchy.. Please bring back the original as it is so disappointing when original products are changed. I am now going to have to waste money trying to find another product as I cannot use this any longer.. I am sure there is a lot more customers that feel the same, they just don't like to complain!!! I hope to find the original product on another website!

Best foundation for combination 52 year old skin
5This glides on, is easy to blend, feels lovely and smooth and looks natural, but covers my mild rosacea well. Really don't understand all those negative reviews. It feels luxurious and has just the right matt finish, with very slight sheen. Stays well too through the day.

Please bring back the Original
3This new formula goes patchy after a couple of hours and seems to change colour I also have irritable eyes which I didn't with the old formula. Money wasted which is annoying and will have to look for another Brand as I like something luminous.

Disappointed customer
3Do not like the new foundation bottle, cannot see when it’s near the end and also the pump is not as good. Very disappointed with this new product.
