Salon treatments at home
4Just a couple of tips to start with....... I thought that the mask wasn't working but then found that I hadn't connected the cable correctly. Even though it felt as though I had pushed in the cable, it needed a little bit more force to connect securely.. The intensity of the light is a bit of a shock to start with. I am quite sensitive to light so I use an eye mask to shield my eyes. Once sorted, I have used the mask daily and have noticed some initial benefits. It certainly has a feel good factor after using it. My skin has a very slight tingle and feels glowing. I have noticed a slight reduction in the redness of a couple of thread veins on my face. I look forward to seeing more benefits as I continue to use it. I received the mask as part of a review panel. I probably wouldn't have thought of buying one, but in the current lockdown situation its great to be able to access this type of treatment at home. This type of salon treatment would be too expensive for me to maintain so it certainly makes it affordable. I would definitely buy this as a gift for family members.

Glowing
4Very easy to use and battery lasts a long time. Iv used the mask for a week now and have definitely noticed an improvement with my skin. It look a lot healthier and is glowing a lot more. My wrinkles seems to have smoothed out too. But I was definitely sold on the mask when both my eldest children said my face looks healthier. Look forward to using the mask more and seeing what further results I can get. Definitely recommend

Amazing and such great value!
5I’ve been using this a couple of weeks and have to say it’s brilliant! I’ve been looking at other brands, and this is such great value for money compared to the cost of others. It’s really neat and easy to use and my skin feels so soft after using it. Definitely recommend!

Interesting concept
4I have been asked to provide my thoughts on this product by Boots Review Panel. Truthfully, it isn't something I would have thought to buy for myself, however I am intrigued by the concept and have enjoyed testing the mask. My initial impression was that the mask is in a nice looking, sturdy box that can be used to keep the mask in when not in use. Prior to use it required charging. A usb cable is provided, but no plug. This wasn't an issue for me as I have several, though I do think it is worth mentioning here as I was surprised a plug was not included. The instructions stated an initial charging time of 6 hours until all 3 lights are on. I charged mine for well over the recommended time because the third light just flashed. In the end I just used it. Maybe I misread that all 3 lights had to be on? It has held it's charge for 10 sessions and now requires charging again. The charged unit slots into the chin of the mask and the connection is a really tight fit. I thought it was secure as I pushed until I felt resistance, but it wouldn't work so I pushed it in even further. You really do have to push harder than you'd expect! A light sensitivity test also needs to be carried out before actually using the mask on the face. You put the mask on your forearm for a 10 minute session to check there is no redness or swelling. I have to confess to feeling quite nervous of it after reading that! As long as your arm is ok after 2 hours you're good to go. The instructions say the mask should be used in the evening on clean, dry skin. There is no explanation as to why the evening is recommended? The mask is held in place with a velcro strap. It is definitely something to do away from prying eyes as my children think it looks like a halloween mask! The red led lights are very bright. I tend to close my eyes, but there is no advice to wear eye protection in the extremely short instructions provided. I do feel that the session is nice and relaxing, however at the end of the 10 minute session there is a very abrupt beep (not a lovely sound!) and an automatic shut off (which is a feature I do like). I have been using the mask for a couple of weeks now. I do think my skin tone looks a bit more even and it does look nice and healthy, though no change to the appearance of fine lines as yet. There is no indication in the instructions of what effects can be achieved over time. I would have liked to see some kind of chart (saying for example, after so many weeks you can expect..., after a month..., after 6 months..., after a year etc) to give users an idea of time scale results to aim for. Overall I think this is an intriguing concept and I will continue to use the mask out of curiosity, though I remain on the fence in terms of results and value for money. I think more comprehensive instructions would help a lot.

Needs improvement
1I received this product to test as part of boots review panel. It’s not something I would have bought for myself. It’s presented well in a sturdy box but it takes a lot of effort before you can use it... 1 - it requires fully charging for 6 hours 2 - A cable is provided but no USB plug - which I think is presumptuous & disappointing given the price. 3 - the charging port is within the mask requires excessive force to connect -I was concerned I would damage it! 4 - you need to test it on your arm first for light sensitivity reactions - 10 mins on the 2 hour wait to see results Then you can start. It advises to use for 10 mins 5 x a week in evenings on clean dry skin There is one steal to hold it in place but it definitely needs 2 to feel more secure and comfortable The masks lights are really bright so I naturally closed my eyes but I would feel Better earring goggles or having eye protection built in The mask didn’t fit to my face easily so I had to hold it in place and the eye prediction thing worked me so it wasn’t at all a relaxing experience At the end of the allocated 10 mins there was a very loud beep which was alarming! I haven’t enjoyed this product or the experience it creates so I haven’t continued using it and I wouldn’t recommend it to friends.

Great addition to skincare routine
5I have been using this mask for a week now & can feel a difference in my skin already. It is smoother & even my husband commented that my skin looked radiant!! Great investment!

Jury’s out.
3Used twice so too soon really to review. I am Not convinced by the science so we will see BUT it’s generally relaxing and part of a self care routine that’s pleasant during this lockdown glum.

Expensive but effective
5I’ve been having led light treatment at my beautician for a while, so with all the lockdowns, it seemed like a good time to invest in this treatment. As other reviews have said, it’s a bit fiddly to start with especially the connection. I found the best way was to lie down, put the mask on, then gently connect the battery. It beeps when connected then you press the button on mask for 3 seconds and it should light up. Any movement does tend to make wire disconnect! I’ve been using daily for 2 weeks and have seen an improvement, particularly with skin radiance and lessening of dark circles under eyes. Skin seems a bit tauter & smoother too. I apply serum generously after treatment. It’s not an instant fix, but it does make a gradual improvement. Certainly expensive but worth it.

It is decent
2I got this product and was secretly reviewing it for you people that are contemplating on buying it. You reading this better be grateful as I wasted a good amount of money on this. I am not going to bash this product as it does what it is meant to but I don't see the point of it to be completely honest. To bring you all to reality and sorry for being an annoying person but nothing is going to stop you aging. It might delay it a bit but it will not ever stop it. The product is good but it is not worth the amount that it is currently selling for. It gets dirty quickly as the sheet is white and I don't recommend.

Great Product
5The first one I bought didn't work but Boots replaced it promptly. I've had no problems at all with the replacement which I've been using for around two months. It's easy to use, the power source lasts a long time before having to recharge and my skin feels plumper and smoother. Very happy with this mask.
