It's like my second skin

Great all rounder foundation from day to night!
5Light feel and with a medium coverage that can be built up, I love this foundation as it doesn’t settle in any lines and has almost a photoshop-like blur finish. It’s a slightly dewy without looking wet and can be layered and powdered into a heavier matte for a night out! I don’t usually wear foundation day to day (just concealer and powder) as I find it heavy and time consuming but this is so light and easy to apply I’ve started to wear it during the day! For someone with oily skin and very bad dry patches, this doesn’t slip through the day and I have found applying with a beauty blender on dry spots with a patting motion solves the problem of hightlighting dry flakes. I don’t usually bother reviewing things but have been raving about this and now all the women in my immediate family are using it!

Disappointed
2Have used seventeen staytime for a number of years and was always happy with it. When boots discontinued it I looked for an alternative so thought I would give this a try. I'm not at all impressed with this foundation, it's not dewy and is quite patchy, doesn't give a great cover, really disappointed

Fabulous
5I bought this 2 days ago. Can't believe how good it is. Goes on soo smoothly. I have sensitive and dry skin. And I usually use clarins range. When I saw this in boots I couldn't resist. It's far better for the price. Lasts all day. Now this will be my new Foundation for now on.

4This foundation is really good, does not sink into fine lines or wrinkles. Makes the skin look fresh and dewy. I've been using Estée Lauder double wear for a while, and I think this No 7 foundation is definitely better. If your skin oily I would recommend a good setting powder.

All-day, light-weight, buildable foundation.
5I bought this in Boots on my 50th birthday (alongside a few other items) and I have to say that it is the best foundation that I have worn for a very long time. I have yet to use a primer underneath it and I've only used a sponge to apply it but I've found that a good moisturiser is enough under this (I use No7 skincare and cleansing items). I knew my shade immediately, but got help from the Boots ladies in order to cement the shade - Cool Ivory. As I'm quite fair, I normally only find foundations that look cakey on me, or settle in the few lines that I have - but not this one. It's a perfect shade (I don't even have to go down my neck to avoid the, dreaded, foundation line) and it settles beautifully. In fact, I like this foundation much better than the Lift & Luminate one. Upon applying, I also found that this is very easy to build up to get even greater coverage. At least that's true with a sponge. My only wish would be that it came in a larger pump container. There isn't enough product in this - I know that's probably better for keeping it fresh but if you use foundation every day, you'll soon run out. Maybe Boots should consider two options of container? This smaller one with 30ml in it and a larger, pump-version, of 50ml? Well done, though. This is a great looking foundation and I shall be buying it again and again.

Just as good as luxury brands
5After spending a ridiculous amount on foundation at a high end store and being deeply disappointed with the products, I want to No 7 to pick up a bottle of the Stay Perfect foundation in cool ivory (my usual), and bought a tube of this on impulse (in the same colour) My only regret is that I didn't buy this before I wasted my money on everything else - it's incredible! I'd say the coverage is slightly (but only very slightly) more sheer than the Stay Perfect, but I much prefer it for everyday wear and now will keep the SP for more made up days. The HydraLuminous feels amazing and is so natural looking, it looks like the very best version of my own skin. It's very easy to apply and you don't need much so is good value. I didn't layer it as I was very happy with the coverage, but I imagine it would be very easy to build for more coverage if you needed to.

1It should be made sure that this contains retinyl palmitate - even if in small amounts . I can't use this so it's a waste of money now.

One of the best drugstore foundations
4I bought this earlier this week and have been wearing it every day since. I’ve tried various applications methods (fingers, brush, sponge - with and without primer) and found that it is best applied with a stippling or buffer brush. It gives an even and seamless light medium coverage which you can build that lasted all day on me (irrespective of primer or not) without ‘moving south’ or going dewy or oily. The radiance is not that long lasting and turns more into a natural finish. It does leave a bit of the usual powdery, make-upy residue on any facial hair which can be minimised with a sponge dampened with setting spray (which will affect the radiance even more). It left my skin looking and feeling wonderfully soft and hydrated all day. Blusher, bronzer, contour apply beautifully over it and stay in place perfectly. It did start to show up a few of my dry patches very lightly after a few hours but not as much as some very high-end products. Overall a very positive and impressive result, and I shall be putting this one alongside my faves! Only drawback is the limited range of colour.......you’ll be hardpushed to find your exact match!
