It WORKS!
5I suffer from genetic dark circles from childhood and so do my siblings. I got my paycheck and decided to buy this expensive serum praying it might help me. Guys, I've only been using this for 5 days and my dark circles are 10% lighter! I'm so so so happy. It is sticky but it is sticky for a good reason, the serum stays exactly where applied and sits underneath the face cream religiously. I don't mind waiting for it to dry for five minutes at all, I brush my teeth while i wait or do sth else. I'm not paid for this review I bought this from my hard earned money. Well done, No. 7!

Didn’t work
1Used for 4 weeks and absolutely no difference in dark spots. Very disappointed as expected more for £38!

Hasn't worked.
1I was buying a different no 7 product when the sales assistant pointed out a dark patch on my cheek and told me this serum would reduce the pigment and make it disappear. After some persuasion by her I decided to give it a go. I've used it religiously for 6 weeks day and night and it's done absolutely nothing. Very disappointing, I definitely do not recommend it.

1What can I say! apart from save your money. Been using it for 3weeks, my dark spots are no different. £38 wasted.

Hugely disappointing
1I have been using this twice a day as directed and seen absolutely no change and I'm so disappointed. I find the serum to be slightly sticky and takes a long time to sink in. Unfortunately will not purchase again.

Great product
4Very easy to apply. TI P: Use a cotton bus to apply. Stops excess serum on fingers & is more accurate for applying to exact areas neded.

No improvement - maybe even worse?
1I have never written a review before but was compelled to after using this booster serum as it’s such an expensive purchase. I’ve been using it as directed, morning and night since I purchased it on April 18th. FYI I use a factor 50 spf each day. I have been taking photos to track any difference and if anything the rain spots seem slightly more pronounced! If the case is that it’s only effective with certain cases of dark spots then that should’ve been advertised and I would’ve judged whether to purchase it or not:

No change
1I have been using this serum to reduce my dark spots for the last 4 weeks. I bought it with such excitement as I do love my no7 products. Unfortunately it barely reduced the darkness of the spots on my face.

Broke me out
2I bought this after seeing great reviews on here. When I first started using it, I had no issues with breakouts on my face so it was totally clear minus scarring. Unfortunately, I found that after 2 weeks my skin started breaking out and I now have a couple of cystic spots. I can't really speak to lightening claims as I discontinued use after breaking out but maybe it works better for those with skin that isn't naturally prone to acne as mine is? I have to say, the texture of the cream is really nice though, but I probably wouldn't recommend to those who have a lot of dark areas to correct as I found that the tube started to run out pretty quickly and it is quite small anyway. I'm a fan of No7 products, just not this one unfortunately.
