Wish There Was a ZERO STAR Option!
1I bought this in "BETTY BLUES' - The brush is *awful* and the formulation is dreadful. It is almost impossible to get the brush to cover your nail and not the cuticle and skin as well. The first coat is uneven and sticky in application. It seems to be drying as the nail is being coated making it drag instead of glide. Applying an additional coat to try and even it out is only more frustrating because it becomes thick gloppy mess. Two coats did not make it look even, it just made it look black instead of blue. Don't waste your money here, girls... there is better out there, for much cheaper, too.

5These nail polishes are perfect! The range of colours is beautiful and vast. I especially love Betty Blues! The polishes are glossy and colours are vibrant and unique and tend to last at least 3 days before chipping. I think the brush has changed slightly over the past year or so and I much prefer the latest brush which provides excellent precision coverage. I found the previous brushes slightly less controlled. Although the No. 7 polishes tend to be priced slightly higher than other highstreet brands, Boots often have the £5 off No. 7 Vouchers which make these polishes a steal at £2.00 so why not try them and see for yourself. Betty Blues is highly recommended as is Pillarbox Red ;)

good flat brush, easy to apply
4The brush is nice, its like Rimmel's Pro, I bought a set, inc. 5 colours, they all quite nice and rich. As the colour chart on boot.com never good enough, so I'll try to give bit of ideas about the colours I've tried. Betty Blue - is a dark blue with tiny bit of metalic in it, but when its on nail almost can't see, so just very dark blue - almost black. Temptress - is nothing like the colour on picture here, its actually a wine colour, dark red cherry /deep burgundy, non-metallic solid plain colour. Milan - is a very metallic silvery colour, pink - lilac tone. Its beatiful and shinny, but personally, this is not my favourit colour. Totally Teal - is darker than on picture 1-2 tone, i think. Non-metallic solid plain colour. Rose Truffle - seems not available online, is a hot pink - light red, solid plain colour. I don't think I would buy it for £7 full price, it over priced, I prefer Rimmel Lycra Pro, very easy to apply, can get away with one coat, good price when 3 for 2, Only not as many nice colours as no.7.

Don't waste your money
1Really disappointed with this product. The bottle neck is long which makes it fiddly to get the brush out. The colour doesn't go on evenly It's too thick and clumps up. I had to take off the polish and re do my nails it was that bad. After two attempts the coverage was ok but still some tiny areas where the colour was different. Not one day in and three nails were chipped - useless. A complete waste of money and I will not be buying again. I have found other brands much cheaper with better results.

First time buyer would not buy again.
1First time for me to buy No.7 products, bought the Temptress Stay Perfect Nail Polish, Colour looks nothing like it does on screen by the way - much darker. After 4 coats patchy at best, smudges easily, chipped the day after, says new formulation - wouldn't have liked to try the old one. Save your cash. Unfortunately I bought other colours at the same time haven't tried them yet, I wouldn't buy Temptress again.

Rubbish product - suggest it's withdrawn
1Liked the colour of Beanie 20, Will not buy ever again. Chipped within one hour. Didn't like the brush design as too much polish gets on the stem. Will stick with OPI in future, which iis a fab product. Wish I had read reviews before parting with 7 pounds.

the longest lasting polish i've used
5i have over 100 nail colours and most are the so called big names ie opi,nails inc and leighton denny, but none of those have lasted on my nails like the poolside blue in this range. i put this on and it lasted more than a week. so long i got bored and took it off. unheard of for me. nail polish usually chips,shrinks back or peels off and yes i do use base coat and clean with remover before starting. this was also a great bargain as bought with a £5 voucher. the colour is pure,coverage good easy to apply(i don't know about the new brush as this is an old style brush no sticker to say its new anyway) and i would purchase again even without the voucher.

Just NO.
1I was extremely excited about this product as it claimed to be so much - larger brush and different formula. Well the formula for one is rubbish as it separates for me when I apply it to the nail and doesn't give a complete coverage. You can't put over one layer of polish as it clumps and sticks and streaks, so aggravating you cannot understand! I really wouldn't recommend any one wasting their own money on this product. No7's products really seem to be going down hill right now :(

Very Disappointed
1Firstly I bought the colour Damson Dream as the colour was a perfect match for a wedding outfit. It said New Brush and Formulation on a blue sticker. Unfortunately I think this is most probably one of the worse nail varnishes I have ever had to apply (and I have applied a few in my 54 years) the brush seemed to take to much varnish and slide into the sides and the cuticle of the nail, but trying to get less on the brush didn't work either as it went streaky. Please can you go back to the old formula and brush please. Lovely colour though.

Hit and miss
2Always bought these No7 varnishes with the £5 voucher. Top marks for pigmentation, but unfortunately they generally don't stay chip-free for long enough to enjoy the beautiful colours! I have found it seems very dependent on which colours you buy as to how long they take to chip: Betty Blues, Salsa and Totally Teal are major offenders, however Temptress, Vivid Violet and So Simple always seem to stay put... Very bizarre! Would never pay full price for this.
