nice colour, bad value.
1I recently bought the polish in 'Minty Fresh', but it looked like a pale blue colour in the bottle. When I applied it over a basecoat, it was all streaky and had patches where the brush had missed my nail. So glad that it was £2, and that I had a voucher, I would of walked straight past it.

Longlasting Colour Perfection!
4I have three of these colours: Milan, Betty Blues and vivid violet, and they are all amzing. The colours are beautiful, and the nail polish itself lasted ages. They were also great value for money, as each time I used a number 7 voucher. The only thing I could fault is that they weren't that quick to dry.

Gorgeous colours!!
4These nail polishes are just stunning! I have bought quite a few during the recent £5 off promotion and I absolutely love them, there is a huge range of colours that are just gorgeous. I haven't marked the review with 5 stars as I've found that a few of the polishes, especially the pearlescent ones need a few coats to get the desired colour/ look, but apart from that I would recommend them, they last for quite a few days without chipping when used with the NailsInc topcoat

Very poor quality nail varnish, not worth £2!
1I purchased No7 Stay Perfect Nail Colour in "Betty Blues" recently. Looking at the bottle whilst in-store, I was expecting a dark blue metallic shade. When applying the varnish, over a decent base coat, the 1st coat was terrible - very uneven / streaky finish. When applying the second coat, the colour seemed black, you wouldn't have known it should be blue. I left the varnish on for 24 hrs and it made a real mess of my nail plate and nail wall - they were stained with a blue tinge, no amount of scrubbing would remove it. I'm a nail technician & would NEVER apply this terrible range to a clients nails; I wouldn't get repeat custom if I did!!

Pricey.
3I bought the nail varnish in 'Highland Mist', i was really excited about it as it was the colour i was looking for. Also, i got it for only £2 because i had a voucher, but i don't think i would have bought it was full price. It is easy-ish to apply however for £7 worth of nail varnish, i would have expected better results. I have bought cheaper nail varnish before and only had to apply one coat, which is what i expected from No7, however the colour is patchy and the texture is watery. One thing i was pleased about is that it dries quickly. Overall i'm not going to bother buying any more nail varnish from No7, too expensive for the results you get.

Stay Perfect Nail Colour - well, it depends on the colour
3I bought 2 bottles of this polish, both in blue and what I would term as 'flat' shades i.e. solid colour, and was extremely pleased with the quality and application. I then decided to get a purple shade. I couldn't find a 'flat' colour and chose one with a pearly hint. It wasn't the same quality and the application was terrible. With the 'flat' shades I only had to apply one coat but, with the pearly shade it took 2 or 3 coats, and it was a bit wattery.

Great colour but needed so many coats to achieve it
2I normally buy cheap nail polish but loved this colour so splashed out. It took 4 coats to achieve the colour density whereas my usual cheapie only takes 2 and I struggled to get into the "corners" of my toes! (Someone else put that the brush was badly designed, I can't comment on that but it certainly was hard to apply!) And it chipped on first outting - lucky I only wear clear on my fingers! Sorry No 7 - I won't be buying again, I'll just stick to skincare

Too sheer.
3I looooooooove the coulor 'Totally Teal' but i dont think its worth £7. Its takes at least 3 coats to get pretty much opaque...

New brush and formulation - Bad Idea!
2As a No7 fan, and having previously used and liked No7 nail varnishes, I decided to buy beautifully black and grey skies as I had a £5 No7 voucher. Firstly beautifully black is not black at all. It is blue, I even asked my husband what colour he thought it was it was, and with no prompting from me said blue. Grey skies is more of an RAF blue and chipped the first day I wore it. The new brush is such a bad idea. It is shaped so that you cannot paint the sides of the nail without getting it on the sides of your fingers and difficult to get it near the cuticle without actually painting on them. The new formulation is also very disappointing. It is thick and does not brush on in an even coat. I was hoping that the second coat would even things out, but this didn't happen and I was left with streaky nails. I'm glad that I used my vioucher, as I purchased these from the Canary Wharf store and would have been £7.50 each without it. Needless to say I will not be purchasing any further nail varnishes from No7.

Doesn't chip even after 4 weeks
5I have acrylic nails done at my local nail bar. The products supplied by the nail bar quickly chipped. I get my nails down every 3-4 after using my own No7 Stay Perfect Nail Colour my nails never chip. I garden and do DIY and my nails still look good, and get lots of complements and at nearly 60 that makes me feel great! I only wish my Boots store stocked a bigger range.
