Some shades are fantastic, others are terrible.
4I own quite a few of these varnishes in various shades and have found that some of the shades are really good and others really aren't. I'm not sure whether the formula of these varnishes does actually vary according to shade but it definitely feels that way to me. For example, I own one in a dark purple (I think it's called 'Blackberry' or something) which I quite like. Long lasting, lovely finish and the application was average. I recently purchased 'Oyster' and I LOVE it. It last even longer, the formula was brilliant and the finish was perfect. However, I also own 'Salsa' which, although it is a lovely shade, chips after a matter of hours and goes on terribly (it's extremely watery). Also, in terms of value, I don't feel that they are worth anything near £7 and make a point to only buy them if I have one of the No 7 vouchers. Overall, they are quite nice nail varnishes but it's definitely worth looking into each shade individually as I swear the formulation varies.

Application of this product is terrible
1Bought two of these last week and unfortunately I lost my receipt so cannot change them. The brush is so wobbly it make application a nightmare particularly on the toes and applying to right hand.

Easy application and good strong colour
5I got this in Poolside Blue and I only had to use one coat to get a good strong colour out of it. The brush is nice and wide, can't say anything about how long it stays on because I've only just applied it today, but from what I've seen so far it's all good! Only thing really is the price, not horrifically expensive but I'm glad I had a £5 voucher handy when I bought it.

Gorgeous and Long Lasting when applied properly
4After reading the reviews of this polish I was a bit skeptical, but I had a £5 No7 voucher so I thought I'd take the plunge, and I am glad I did. Before I start I would like to stress that the people having issues with the nail polish are clearly forgetting something; BASE COAT. Always, always wear a base coat. You don't have to spend a mint on one, the cheap 17 one works wonders (though it doesn't strengthen as it claims to) or if you do want a really good one go OPI which you will find will do wonders for your nail polish lifespan and your nail health. Both will make any nail polish last a very long time and probably pay themselves off as you won't get through your polish as quickly due to reapplications and touch-ups. If you've never tried a base coat, try it once, and I assure you that you'll never go back. Now let's talk about this nail polish. I bought this in vivid violet and the colour is absolutely gorgeous. Furthermore I've been wearing the same polish I was 4 days ago, and the only chip I've had was the result of having a fight with a keyring. Of course, this is with a base coat (the cheap 17 one) I can't speak for how it lasts without, because I never go without one, but after reading the other reviews, I'm assuming not very well. I probably wouldn't spend £7 on it though, but the reason for this is purely because I could get a really special colour for that price or cheaper from other brands, I would probably consider it if I was going somewhere formal, and I will probably use my remaining voucher to buy a red shade - A nice glossy red nail polish is a basic for any girl, after all. It is not really quick drying as it claims, and you need a minimum of 3 coats to get the full hue - this can make it a nightmare to apply if you're in a hurry, you really need to be patient and can't really do much else while waiting for it to dry. On the plus side, I don't think you really need a top coat with this polish as it's super shiny already, and with three coats it doesn't really seem necessary. I would however once more like to stress the importance of a base coat.

Looks good for a FEW hours, then chips off
1I thought I'd try these as I had two £5 off vouchers, so I bought a pink one and a clear one. I'm glad I didn't pay full price because it doesn't last very long at all. The pink looked great when I first put it on but it chipped off SO easily. It didn't even last a quiet night in the pub! The clear version was the same.

Peacock Feather
3The colour "Dollar"is dark green but can appear dark blue in some lights , reminding me of a peacock feather.I had to apply two coats to get a strong colour but it has a nice wide brush making application easy. I ensure the varnish is completely dry as the colour can move, but i think this colour is beautiful!

Excellent product but too expensive without the £5 voucher
5I bought the "minty fresh" colour. It is a beautiful light blue rather than mint. Since it is very light and very liquid it needs 3 layers to be fully opaque. However, it is super easy to apply thanks to the rounded brush, it dries very quickly and it lasts long. I have applied it 2 days ago. I did houseworks, washed dishes and had showers and it is still almost like when I applied it. I bought the product with the £5 voucher so I paid it only £2.5 and thus I am very happy with it. However, if I had not had the voucher I wouldn't have bought it.

Utterly gorgeous colours
4I have several of these polishes and in general they are easy to apply and mostly the colours are amazingly pigment rich. Unlike other reviewers I do not find they chip off my gel nails and I work in retail so am constantly handling money and merchandise. The exception is "So Simple" which as other reviewers have said has hardly any pigment and in my opinion is a waste of money. I have been wearing "Minty Fresh" all week and am constantly asked where to get it as it packs such a punch on decent nails, as does "Jammie" which is my absolute favourite. My advice is to purchase these with the current £5 voucher offer and use a good quality top coat with them like Sech Viche.

Chips after one day!
3Nice nail polishes - Highly pigmented and nice brush, but after 1-2 days, it chips! And for such a high-ish price, some cheaper nail polishes are better in quality!

Lovely Product
4After reading comments on the site I was unsure of buying the product. My sister has a range of the colours that are sold and her nails always look professional so I went and brought three - Vivid Violet, Stand Back and Me!Me!Me! I applied some false nails and I have used all three colours of different occasions. The application was easy and I applied two coats to get the desired look. I found that you have to wipe the tip on the top of the bottle to wipe of the excess off just like on any nail varnish. Then you get a nice even coat which isn't streaky or gloopy. It didn't chip until the fourth day of wearing it. I don't see a problem with the product except it is a bit pricey. I have used more expensive products which leave a less desired effect than this one.
