Absolutely awful!
1I was politely recommended this mascara in store when trying to purchase my "Normal" mascara which is apparently discontinued. Having used this range for years this is by far the worse quality product I have ever encountered. Difficult to apply - horribly thin apology for an applicator - almost rubbery in texture and useless.. no definition- and horrendously hard to remove! bring back the previous range please!!

Horrible
1Sorry No7, I'm usually a fan...but this product is terrible. It's like PVA glue! Yes, it does stay put...but as other reviewers have said, it makes the lashes spidery and sticks them together. It adds very little volume or length and feels horrible. When you take it off, rather than dissolving, it comes off in strands, getting in your eyes and all over your face. Really not keen....will be returning it later today.

Long lasting with fabulous lashes!
4I really like this product, the applicator brush enables you to cover every lash. My lashes looked definitely longer and more defined. So look wise perfect! It is definitely smudgeproof/waterproof - that was a fantastic feature! I wore this product for my sister's wedding and it did not budge for the whole day and stays looking perfect (even when it was accidentally left on all night -oops!). Removal is slightly more of a hassle than other mascaras as you have to hold a cotton pad/flannel over the eye for 30 secs - I found 20 secs was long enough. It was a bit of a shock the first time I removed it as I though my eyelashes were falling out but it is just how the mascara comes away from your lashes - in lines as well as bits - so it is not your actual lashes falling out! I got used to this and found that the product actually comes away quite easily. To be honest for the sake of 20-30 secs to have a product that stays put is worth it! I will definitely keep using it and it definitely has a place in my makeup collection!

Lasts ALL day & removes easily!
4Brilliant mascara as far as lasting all day is concerned (Im up at 4am, after showering make up is applied approx 4.30am and I dont get ready for bed till 9/10pm and it stays perfectly in place!) Removal is SO easy I dont understand what some reviewers are doing wrong! To avoid wasting cotton pads I use warm water on a flannel and hold to my eyes for say 30 seconds and wipe away - and its gone - all gone! Slides of my lashes! Application is also fairly easy. The brush is not too large which is nice, and despite not being a fan of non bristle brushes I have surprised myself at how nicely I can apply the mascara. The mascara dries VERY quickly - there are cons and pros! The pro being that I can dry my fringe after application without my fringe knocking wet lashes onto my skin and causing black marks everywhere, and my lashes stay in position and dont get beaten back down to a boring straight finish. The con of course being that, as some reviewers have said, you cant really use layers to build up, and it really does need layers for an "impact" look. This is the nearest I have ever come to wanting to buy the same mascara again, it lasts so well and comes away so easily for a waterproof mascara, but the lack of impact after application is making me want to try another No7 mascara instead its a tough decision :-/

Wow - ticks all the boxes
5I've tried loads of waterproof mascaras over the years from the inexpensive to the expensive and this has to be the best one I've tried! I spent a week in Lanzarote and I only smudged it on the first day when I managed to get suncream on my eye lids by mistake. It stayed on every day, never smudged, flaked, rubbed off, or came off in the pool. I checked out the video first and you do only need to apply it once to the outer layer of the lashes. Unlike most waterproof mascaras it really did come off with warm water and cotton wool held on for 30 seconds and the mascara slid off with no panda eyes the next morning. Unlike some reviewers I didn't have to scrub my eyes to get it off, it didn't pull my lashes out and the coverage was great. I have even taken my make up off with a make up wipe and reapplied everything else and the mascara stayed put. What a brilliant product and thanks for making a brown/black mascara - I really don't like black mascara as I find it too harsh for my colouring. It does what it says on the tube - well done No 7! I've kept on using it since I came home as it has replaced my usual brand.

Natural looking and long lasting
4I was really impressed with this mascara. I tried a few waterproof mascaras over the summer and struggled to find one that didn't end up smudging or flaking on me and my oily eyelids. This didn't budge! It's now what I go to when I want a natural look or on a warm day.It goes on easily and gives a very natural effect to the lashes. I tried to build it up, but found a single coat worked better for me. (I think if you want a long or full or fluttery look then it won't be right for you.) Removal is really easy too, just a bit of water and cotton wool and it all comes off - no tugging or rubbing or oily eye make up removers needed!

Don't bother wasting your money
1The brush is absolutely tiny and not curved to the shape of the eye in any way, which makes putting it on really fiddly and takes twice as long. The little bristles are so tiny that they don't even touch my lashes, which again makes it much harder to apply and why bother when there are so many great products out there. In all fairness it dried quickly once I got it on, but that was about the only good point. The tube is tiny so you really don't get much for the price you pay and it just generally didn't look very good. Very disappointed as I am actually a fan of this brand.

2I'll give No.7 points for the accuracy of the name 'Stay Perfect' as once it's on your lashes, it's not budging. I have quite long lashes and most mascaras leave a smudgy residue at the top of my eye sockets, but this one didn't. It also didn't flake off at any point in the day. Great! Now the bad stuff... It's like brushing on glue to your eye lashes. The reason it 'Stays Perfect' is because of this glue. My lashes were clumped together and looked ridiculous. The mascara wand was also pretty rubbish. In summary, good in theory but rubbish in reality.

An essential treat for, me !
4I usually pay less for mascara but, this was recommended to me. I was a little sceptical about the size of the wand but, it seems to be ok. Not cloggy or too dark. Does not, give the appearance of, "panda eyes" thankfully, so overall I am pleased. Does not smudge at all. I have my doubts about how long it will last before it runs out; will have to wait & see. No 7 is a tried, trusted & tested brand so hopefully it will prove a long term, hit.

Great hassle-free mascara
5I have to admit that my first impression was not good - it sticks the lashes together slightly rather than making them natural and volumised. But after using it a few times, it has now become my favourite mascara. The biggest plus is that it stays put however much it rains or you rub your eyes, but you can remove it easily even if you don't have an eye make-up remover at hand. But I also like the way it looks. Overall, very happy with it.
