Smooth and highly pigmented
5I bought this in "silver lightning" as I wanted a light base colour that was in a pale cool shade but wasn't glittery. This fitted the bill perfectly. It has a shimmer, is easy to apply - very silky and blends perfectly with other products. I will definitely look at other colours too.

A good working product
4I use this all over my upper eye area after concealer, to 'lighten' where the lids have gone dark with time It goes on smoothly, doesn't 'shine' and stays on well for a few hours. Not a glam product, but a good.useful. no glittery bits' product for your makeup wardrobe..

Colour
2I was hoping the name matt pine was a green colour but it looks black and too dark for me. I loved my usual colour No 41 Peacock but this doesn't seem to be available any more. A shame! There is nothing wrong with the product as I've been using it for years, just the limited selection of colours for me as I like green, blue or grey. I have Thunder grey which is fine.

Great colour
5Very pleased with this eye shadow - grey in colour, no blue. No allergic reaction to it either. Exactly what I wanted. When ordering online I wasn't sure what the colour actually was like - but luckily it was right for me.

Favourite product ruined!
1I've been using the truffle shadow for over twenty years - it was a fantastic product. I've seen it through several changes of packaging, but with the latest change Boots have altered the actual product - greatly for the worse. It is a different colour - a warm brown instead of a cool one, which doesn't suit me - and the product doesn't have the lasting power of the original. I have discarded it. Why change a winning formula and lose customers?

Web Page Errors
4It would be useful to have the colours matching the names on the web page - 'Truffle', for example, is not a turquoise colour as the chart suggests, but a shade of brown. That is not the only error as there are others which are incorrect. The product itself is well worth buying, especially with the current offer, but difficult to buy on line because of the colour discrepancies.

5I have found this product a joy to use and wear. Easy to apply looks great and lasts ages, a perfect all rounder.

2Have used No7 eye shadows for many years but I haven't bought a replacement because I am hoping that you will return to having an applicator within the case.
