What a let down - Eyeshadow primer

I purchased the primer 2 weeks ago and sadly it does not keep eyeshadow crease free. It's relatively drying on my eyelids, my skin started to flake (eek) and I noticed it highlighted lines - fortunately I don't have many in my mid 40s but that said the primer still emphasised them. I was expecting much more from No7 and £9.50 is expensive for 10ml. I was naive enough to believe the hype from the counter staff! I'll keep searching for something that actually works, and try to find a product with less chemicals in it too.

Totally agree with other reviews, why oh why when a product works well, ie eye base and brightener, is it discontinued. Assured that it was just the same, if not better. Awful, thin, greasy and a waste of money and time.

Prefer previous product

So disappointed much prefer the previous brightening primer which I have been using for years!! Please bring it back !!!! Won't be buying thus again.

Great texture

Fab texture which feels amazing when applied. Not sure if it makes my eyeshadow last longer but it definitely makes them feel more moisturized!

Disappointing

Poor product - thin and greasy and doesn't provide a good base for eyeshadow. Please bring back the old eye brightening and smoothing base!

Really impressed

Previously had a problem with my eye shadow fading or smudged by the end of the day. The primer has really help it stay in place and the colour still looks vibrant. Recommend.

Was told it had replaced 'stay perfect smoothing and brightening eye base', disapointed too oily will not buy again.

Good product, good price

Kept my eye make-up in place for well over 14 hours, with no creasing or smudging. This is nearly as good as my favourite premium brand, and at almost half the price, I'm happy to make the swap.

I have never used eyeshadow primers before but I wish I learnt about it before. My eyeshadow lasted all day and night and it was so much easier applying!

Worth it's weight in gold

I've been using this for a while. Yes occasionally a clear liquid comes out. I just leave that on a piece of tissue. The product has made such a difference. My eyeshadow is still where I put it at the end if the day. I can get very hot and even that doesn't seem to affect it at all.
