Liquid liner is easier and stays on much better
1I tried this for a change, however, the wand was terrible. It doesn't allow a precise application and the powder falls everywhere. I did not find that even after touching everything up I liked the appearance. I found no redeeming qualities in this expect if you had no make up brushes to apply a liner then this would work- so maybe if travelling? I still found the powder did not stay long enough and it would fall to your under eye making you look exhausted.

Best I've tried
5This eyeliner is great - it goes on so easily and you can leave it as a line or gently smooth in with your eyeshadow brush to give it the smudged look. Best thing is, once on, it stays put! One tip is to blow gently on the applicator before applying it, as you can get some of the powder on your face. Try it - it's worth it.

very poor quality
1this is very messy black powder goes everywhere had to take make up off and start all over again wouldnt recommend this product at all

Bad choice
2I used three to four times, the black powder make everwhere on your face, and it start smudging at the first min. it is the worst eyeliner I have ever bought!

Meh
1This is really just a loose powder eyeshadow. The applicator is a thin wand that allows the powder to cling onto it so you can draw a line of powder. This can be achieved with any No7 or other branded eyeshadow. If you want a neat eyeliner line it's not possible because the powder frays and smudges near as soon as your perfect line is drawn. BUT... this method of application is great for creating a smoky smudgy eye. I don't see how the rep price can be justified as it's just a loose powder marketed as something else.

contact lens wearers beware!
2I agree with the other reviewers regarding the ease of application, it is almost foolproof. Great. It gives a softer look than a classic liquid liner which is really flattering. But: the fallout from the sparkly black (which really is an attractive dark grey) is too much for my eyes. The glitter floats off during application and wear and is very irritating to the eye, especially if it settles on/under a contact lens. I will try and exchange this for the brown version.

Great for smoky eyes
5I bought this eyeliner today in brown with a No7 £5 off voucher. I probably wouldn't buy it without one, as I find the price to be quite high for something that is practically already in my make-up kit. However, I love the way that you can create a smoky eye easily and in a short space of time. After testing the black one, I can say that it is very pigmented. If I end up getting more No7 vouchers I will be getting the sparkly silver one too.

It's so easy to use
5Trust me I'm not one for writing reviews but in case i have made an exception. It is so easy to use. I have loads of different eyeliners discarded to the back of the drawer as i find it difficult to apply. They have all gone in the bin. For anyone who finds it difficult whether it be not having a steady hand, need a magnifying glass to apply this is definately the one for you. I just wished i'd known about it sooner. Thank you No.7

WOW!
5The minute I tried this eyeliner on the back of my hand I knew it was coming home with me. It's worth pointing out that this doesn't work like a liquid liner or a regular waxy pencil, if you are looking for a sharply defined line then this probably isn't the right product for you. The tube has a slim spongy type applicator that makes applying the powder liner very easy indeed! I purchased the sparkly black one, though it's also worth pointing out that it's more of a rich pewter grey. This is THE BEST product I have found to achieve a quick smoky eye by miles, it's super fine and soft, blends well and it is easy to build coverage with. The pigment and quality of this are amazing. SUPERB!!

High maintenance
3I was looking for a liquid eye liner and stumbled on this one. I know it's not a liquid eye liner but the No.7 lady bigged it up and I had a £5 voucher so thought it was worth a punt for the price. It applies smoothly, but be armed with a wet wipe to wipe off the remnants of the powder falling onto you cheek. I'm not the kind of girl that checks her make-up regularly throughout the day, but with this eye liner you need to. I found that when I looked in the mirror at the end of the day I looked a right mess with most of it had smudged around my eye. Most disappointing. I wear it on it's own on top of a primer (Benefit 'Lemon Aid') and a pressed powder on top to seal it. I'll give it one more shot on top of eye shadow and see how it fairs, if it fails it's going in the bin!
