I feel duped!
3I tried this cream in store and subsequently bought it, I have used it for a few days only and it has a great texture for my 47 year old very dry and ageing complexion and it feels lovely when I apply it. BUT ...and it is a huge BUT... all of a sudden I look like ive been to Tenerife for a weeK? Now I would love to embrace the powers of a tiny pot and think it really has restored and renewed me, but i fear i am literally applying something that is 50% fake tan.... and not in a good way.... Would a knowledgable Boots advisor please respond?

Awful cream now
1I bought this with my mothers day money, a gift from my daughter, to replace one she has bought me before as i liked it so much. However, the formula has been changed. And i dont like this new cream at alll. Makes my skin feel dry. A complete waste of precious money.

Do not like the change
1I have used No.7. Moisturiser for many many years, I do not like like the recent Improvement. The moisturiser is too thick and leaves my skin feeling dry and stiff. I have tried for a few week since too see if it improved with time, it has not. I won’t be purchasing again and will have to find an alternative.

I don't like the change
2I have been buying the Restore & Renew for many years now. I reviewed it about 6 years ago when I first tried it and loved it. I stopped using L'Oreal Mature cream because it was too greasy, and found the R&R gentle, sweet smelling (particularly the Night Cream) and non-shiny/glossy. Contrary to the other reviewers, I now find this new Multi Action Day and Night Cream too greasy with no smell and it doesn't seem to last as long during the day. My poor ol'skin in its 70th year just isn't the same as it was, now!

Not effective
1I too have bought this for several years and purchased several pots last month whilst it was on 3 for 2 . What a waste - it used to feel creamy and rich. Now it smells peculiar , is thin and watery and does nothing. No information given about change of formula. Won’t but this product again.

Changed the formula...be warned!
1I've bought this for years and it's been brilliant. Sadly the last batch I bought a couple of weeks ago seems to have been changed and is no longer effective, leaving me with dry and sore skin. There has been no publicity of this change so I have wasted £50 on it...

Perfectly OK cream BUT...
2Bought this about 6 weeks ago and will not buy it again. It seems to be a perfectly adequate moisturiser ( i.e. No magic properties or startling results) but the reason I won't buy again is because like all creams you put on your face, though I never put it on my lips, you inevitably find you can taste it after a while and it has a very unpleasant taste. No other moisturiser I have ever used does this and I shall go back to Clarins - sorry Boots .

5I switched to the Restore & Renew collection about six weeks ago on the recommendation of a friend, as my premium brand skincare was no longer cutting the mustard for my post menopausal skin. I was sceptical, but managed to get a good deal on the day & night moisturisers, serum and eye cream, thanks to the 3 for 2 deal and a money off voucher, so went for it. I have to say I am absolutely delighted with the results, after six weeks of use, my skin tone is more even, my skin looks plumper and wrinkles are definitely filling out. The collection is highly fragranced which I was a little concerned about as my skin is quite sensitive but I have had no reaction whatsoever and find the products to be very soothing on my skin.

Better for me than premium brand
5I bought day and night creams and serums in sale without realising they were for 50+, I was 38. Usually used Clinique eye and Elemis Marine Cream and loved them but had heard good thing about No 7. Used on one side of my face to test and saw noticeable difference in find lines within 2 weeks. Been using about 18months and skin still really good. Would recommend.
