Terrible change from the original
1I had been very impressed with the previous version of this product and switched from Liz Earle’s version to this. Sadly I will be switching back, this product makes my face sting and brings out blotchy sore patches. Won’t buy again.

BRING OLD ONE BACK
1I’ve been a user of the old hotcloth cleanser for a long time and was the only cleanser that made my skin feel fresh and revived but this one is no good for my skin, it stings and caused me to have a breakout. PLEASE BRING BACK THE OLD ONE

Disappointing new cleanser
1This new cleanser is inferior to the original one which I loved and have used for years.It also costs more.Please bring back the original.

Change it back! Not an improvement!
1No7 hot cloth cleanser used to be my desert island no1 product, that I couldn’t live without. It was the only thing that left my greasy skin feeling clean and unblocked my clogged pores. This new version is awful. Look at the reviews please, please, and change it back!!

Not happy
1After using the original one for years and running out. I bought this be improved version a week ago. My skin is normally pretty good. Odd breakout at certain time of month. But in a week of using this new one my poor sensitive skin is suffering badly. I'm a 43 year old with the skin of a hormonal 15 year old. All spots and sore. The old one was perfect for sensitive skin... Please bring back the old formula. Or looks like sacking no7 and going back to Liz Earle. If something isn't broken why try fixing it??

1I’ve been using this product for years and now will have to find something new, why change an excellent product. You will lose customers in droves!

Why
1I too tried to purchase the original hot cloth cleanser and was told it had been replaced. My skin is very sensitive so I asked for a sample which I was kindly given. That evening, I tried the new product and immediately my skin started to sting and feel irritated. I had been using the original hot cloth cleanser for years which I absolutely loved. I really don't know why they have replaced it with a product that not only my own skin can't tolerate but many other reviewers are also experiencing the same or similar problems. Please bring back the old one?!

not good poor quality
1I purchased this cleanser recently after a visit to my local Boots store. I always used the original Hot cloth Cleanser and was told that it had been discontinued and that this was the new replacement. I cannot tell you how disappointed I was to find it is nothing like the old version, it made my skin feel tight and dry and after a few days my skin was very red, so stopped using it and purchased another well known Hot Cloth Cleanser instead. I fail to understand why Boots would discontinue such a good product and replace it with such a substandard product which was such a good seller. Another thing is the price the original cleanser cost £10 and this new one is £13, how can Boots justify such a big increase in price. Please Boots listen to your customers and bring the old version back, you are going to lose loyal customers. Normally use a lot of no.7 skincare products but the new products are not up to standard the search begins for a new brand. Would give zero stars if I could.

Zero stars
1Why why WHY! Has this been changed? Stings eyes and does not remove mascara. I sent an email regarding the new improved (not it's not) product to boots, poor response telling me they would pass on my feedback! I have used the old product for years with no issues, I used to recommend to everyone but this new formula is terribly and I usually stock up 3 per purchase. The old formula was the only thing I can remove eye make up with! Come on boots action your customers concerns!!!

Burnt my face!
1This stuff needs immediately recalling due to the sheer number of identical complaints!! My skin became red, sore and blotchy after just one use! Needless to say it went in the bin. Sort it out boots please. I'll stick to Superdrug hot cloth cleansers or Liz Earle if I can afford it!
