Smells like shoe polish after a while...
3I have used a couple of pots of this stuff. It cleans my face nicely without blocking pores and is pleasant to use. However the one criticism is the smell. Initially pleasant, after the pot has been open a while it is very much like shoe polish. So I won't buy it again.

Fabulous product and great value
5I’ve been using this for nearly two years now. I decided to switch from a cream cleanser to a wash off. My skin improved fairly quickly and it’s a pleasure to use, lightly fragranced and soft. I use eye make up remover first as I prefer to be gentle around my eyes. I stock up when offers are on for this and I can’t imagine I could buy a better balm at this price point.

My Favourite Cleanser
5I've been using this for around 6 months now (was previously using the Liz Earle cleanser but I found that I was going through it quickly and it is quite expensive) and I absolutely love this stuff! It removes makeup so easily and leaves the skin feeling so soft. I always use waterproof mascara and it takes it off with such ease. I usually use this as my first cleanse and then go in with a micellar water just to remove the traces of makeup around my eyes. I have quite dry/sensitive skin and I find it to be really gentle on the skin. Very affordable too and regularly on offer. There's also plenty of product in the pot so you definitely get your money's worth. Love this cleanser!

Great for a first cleanse
4I bought this as an alternative to the Elemis cleansing balm as I had a voucher for No7 which I wanted to use up. Whilst it is not quite as luxurious as the Elemis one it does the job in removing my makeup and sunscreen in my first cleanse. I then follow up with the elf jelly cleanser to remove all residue. Good product for the price so recommend if you are on a budget, if you find the provided for muslin cloth too rough I recommend using a microfibre makeup removing cloth to remove the product.

No 7 have done it again!
4I've been using an expensive cleansing balm and wanted to find something cheaper without compromising on quality. This is lovely stuff - the results are great on my skin. It feels really clean and soft. I gave 4/5 because I think the pot could be filled a bit further, it's not going to last long.

I’m amazed!!!
5I was bought this as a birthday present having not used No7 skincare before. This balm is so gentle, tiny blob needed, rub over the whole face including eyes. It removes all traces of makeup and leaves skin very soft. It’s a godsend.....just try it!!!

Amazing product, completely transformed my skin
5I have been struggling with break outs and lots of small pimples all over my skin, particularly in the forehead area for the past couple of years. I suspected these were due to hormonal changes. I tried different face washes but my skin just felt very dry but still had the spots. I tried this no 7 balm and my skin is now completely clear, even the small pimples have gone which were the stubborn ones. I now suspect I have been over washing my face for the past couple of years which only made the problem worse. This product removes make up effortlessly and does not strip the skin. My cheeks are glowing with radiance and all the dry patches have gone. It's just a dream to use. It leaves a light layer of moisturiser behind but does not feel greasey or like a film. I prefer it to the clinique version I used previously and it's much more affordable!

Fabulous product
5I bought this last week after running out of my usual Elemis pro collagen cleansing balm at £44.00 for 105 grams which I have used since it was launched and did not think I would ever be without, but I thought I would give this a go. Love it, love it, love it. It smells divine and leaves my skin really soft and moisturised. This will now be my go to cleanser and at a fraction of the price of my old one. Give it a go, I really don't think you will be disappointed.

Leaves a film on my face and made me break out
1I bought this because I ran out of my normal cleansing balm and wanted to try a slightly cheaper option that I could buy in store. This and a few others have taught me to stick to what I know works best. The first thing I didn't like about this balm was it left an oily film on my face, which isn't so bad if I was doing a double cleanse, but sometimes I want just the balm to get the job done. Secondly it gave me a bunch of small white heads, I'm not acne prone. It was so cheap I was hoping to be able to use it on my makeup sponges in place of my normal cleansing balm but it left the same film on them and only removed some of the makeup. If you're looking for a good reasonably priced cleansing balm this isn't it, I would recommend the banila co clean it zero.

Even better than expected
5I was looking for something to replace disposable face wipes to cut down on waste, and I'm so happy to have found this product! It's such good value for money, you only need a small amount and all makeup just dissolves, leaving soft, fresh skin. It comes with a muslin cloth so you have everything you need. My skin feels so soft afterwards, and I'm impressed it hasn't given my temperamental skin any breakouts, whilst leaving my dry cheeks feeling soothed. Highly recommend giving it a try. As a side note it would be nice to see more quality sustainable products from boots, such as reusable cotton pads, to add to their excellent No7 range.
