packaging update????
4this is a good Powder however the packaging is terrible i always result in getting a butter knife out and some tweezers to open up the sifter. this does mean the lid doesn't completely securely shut however means i can get to the product im paying for. The old packaging was way better!!! If packaging was upgraded this would be a 5 from me as the product is natural, keeps my face matte for longer and does the job !!!

Best loose powder against the most expensive.
5Been using this powder for over 20yrs, and have used expensive brands. The powder is difficult to get out but I still have the old black box from years ago, I have to transfer the powder into the old box everytime I run out cause I can't get the powder out of this container. I also notice that the contents of powder keep getting smaller. Have to fill old container with two new loose powders. They must think people don't notice how many ozs you get from years ago. Double the amount years ago so much less know.

5Note: I use the transluscent version, have olive/tan skin tone and my skin type is dry. I bought this powder on a whim just before Christmas as my Laura Mercier powder had run out. Cash was tight and I had one of those regular No7 vouchers to use. I haven't repurchased Laura M and don't plan to. Yes, the tiny holes in this product's packaging are annoying but it's worth it for the quality and is the only disadvantage. The powder is perfect for baking under the eyes as it is finely milled, 'melts' into the skin then STAYS PUT with no touch ups all day and zero oil (though bear in mind I have dry skin so I never get super oily anyway). It can be brushed away easily and doesn't leave a white cast or any trace at all - I sometimes don't bother with setting spray as there's no need with this powder. I have tried all the hyped-up powders including RCMA (horrible; rubs off my foundation + concealer in patches and only mattifies AROUND my pores so it actually highlights the look of them) and Coty Airspun (awesome- v similar to this No7 powder). The main problem I personally have with a lot of powders is the creasing and cakey look they create under my eyes - not with No7. It's truly the best and I just wish I could buy it in as big a tub as the RCMA powder. Try it when there's an offer on, you might find your new makeup staple!

Good powder but ...
4I bought this as an alternative to Corn Silk which is no longer being made sadly. The transluscent shade is fine, and gives good coverage, but as other reviewers have said, it's really difficult to get the powder out, especially when it's nearly finished. No 7 need to improve the packaging.

Good but access is difficult
3The powder is fine, good colour and does the job well. My problem is getting enough out through the tiny holes in the top: I have had to widen them using a braddle. PLEASE Boots, make the holes a little larger!!

Only Ok
3I bought this based on the reviews below and because I love the matte foundations and concealer. I have fair, combination skin. This powder neither looks nor feels any different on my skin to Rimmel Stay Matte pressed powder and it doesn't control my shine as well.

Amazing!
5Absolutely love this powder, perfect for my oily combo skin. You get a lot of product for the price compared to other big brands, and the quality is better in my opinion. It keeps my foundation lasting and leaves me with an airbrushed effect on my skin!
