Good Stuff!
5I used to go to beauticians regularly and always bought their expensive branded minerals makeup, then we were hit by the credit crunch and I could no long afford the expensive stuff. I have to say that No7 Minerals foundation is as good as the top brand minerals makeup without a doubt and I have told my friends to switch!

ORANGE :(
3I was out shopping with a friend, when she decided to get this applied onto her face. After seeing her I thought...wow "definite buy". Only to get annoyed and disappointed it wasn't so wonderful on me. I have medium to light asian skin thats oily around my nose mainly. The product worked very nicely for the oil BUT the shades selection is TERRIBLE!!! Besides the lightest one, theyre all orangey! My skin fits the "buff" category, but wen i had it applied to my face i looked like a tan had gone completely wrong. So, i bought the "blonde" shade which is a supposed to be darker but came out lighter. The shade "blonde" is not as orangey, and be very careful to use a little and dab/tap your brush so the excess powder comes off. The converage is not fantastic but definitely acceptable. I use this product as a bronzer (VERY LIGHTLY) because I have brownish asian skin. Overall I'd give it a 3.5/5. Apply it lightly and it can make you look great, a little too much and uh-oh your orange and cakey. Apply it wisely.

4I am fair skinned but not extremely so. I bought the lightest colour available & it is dark. It is easy to use & gives a great even finish but the brush is already losing its bristles & I've only used it 3-4 times.

Mineral Powder
4I was advised to use this by a consultant at my local Boots and decided to go ahead with it as I was previously using Maybelline's mineral powder which has now been discontinued! :( The brush is WAY too big and does not give good coverage, so I decided to use a smaller brush, this worked better and the foundation does give good coverage, but it is a bit too shimmery for my greasy skin and makes my pores look quite big! It would be perfect for someone with matte skin though, and as all previous comments - it does come out quite dark on your skin!

Excellent!
5I came across this powder when one of the assistants on the no.7 counter did my make-up for me. She used it to 'set' my foundation. It's too sheer for me to use on it's own but is an excellent final step used in this way to 'set' your make-up. Bear in mind though that even the lightest shade (New Ivory) comes out quite dark. Worth reminding to those of us with very fair skin. I'm on the borderline here, so can just about get away with it.

4I cannot wear liquid/mouse foundation, It clogs my pores and looks awful! I have suffered from acne for years, my skin is porous and oily and basically looks awful most of the time. This is completely different, It gives a beautiful light soft coverage. Makes my skin glow! It looks so smooth and makes my acne less noticeable. I would definitely recommend especially if you suffer from acne/oily skin :) (Only slight disadvantage is that the colour is a bit too dark, but my skin is very pale so I find I have this problem with most foundations)

Bring out a lighter shade please Boots!
2I'm sure the product is great on darker skin tones but even the lightest shade was too dark for my skin. I am fair skinned, but not ghostly pale by any means, and the lightest covering of the New Ivory shade made me look like I'd applied fake tan in a none too subtle way.

Fab product!
5Have not worn foundation for years as, long ago they clogged my pores and my skin broke out in spots. Decided to ask adviser and she was fab. Introduced me to this product and it gives an even, natural finish that I adore. My skin doesn't feel as though I am wearing any foundation, it's light and SO easy to apply in seconds!!!!

very poorly packages
1Very disappointing packaging. worst I've ever bought from Boots. The poweder is in a plastic pot with holes- the powder doesn't come through. It's supplied with a brush- this doesn't match with the pot with holes. I tried to get the plastic cover off and the whole lot went over my clothes and my carpet. Don't touch it.

Airbrushed shield of Glory!
5I choose the New Ivory colour as the others seemed too dark even for my own light olive skin and the shade is just right. I tried it on in the store on the back of my hand and compared to the other make up free hand, I was amazed how great the make up looked ~ try doing that and you will be buying this as one of your essentials before you know it. Well done Boots for providibg yet another wonderful No7 product.
