No7 Lift & Luminate Triple Action Serum Foundation
1Why was it changed to a glass bottle? So hard to shake it and have to take the top off to use it, as the pump action doesn't often work and spatters. I have used this foundation for a long time, alternating with Instant Radiance in the summer. Very dissatisfied with the applicator, the top flew off and cracked, so now doesn't fit tightly. Expensive mistake, will not buy again.

Poor standard
1I loved this foundation before it changed to the serum one and unfortunately do not like this new one. It is a major disappointment. It is thin and whilst it may appear to give good coverage initially, it soon wears thin. Also the previous one was a lot more moisturizing with a plumping effect and thus gave a dewy complexion, whilst this has a dry looking matte effect. I will have to find another foundation as this is not good enough.

Strangest foundation ever
1I bought this and realised that no amount of powder, primer or setting spray will keep this in place. It slips off your face in a way so extreme I’ve never seen another foundation do. It separates around my nose and setting patchily. It looks great for the first 10 minutes then seems to set and defines my pores. Even after hours of wear if I touch my face the foundation disappears. Also goes beyond the point of dewy and makes my face look straight up oily.

New Lift and Luminate
3Have been comparing new with old L&L recently; I have some of the old left and also a sample of the new so tried them at the same time on my face. There are a couple of obvious differences to me: the colour I use is not quite the same, as it is now a slightly warmer, more orangey shade. Unfortunately, the thing I liked most about the old L&L was it matched perfectly with my light skin tone. It doesn't seem to cover as well as the old one does, especially blue under eye shadows. Finally, it seems a bit lighter and more fluid when first applied to the skin although when it dries it actually looks more mat and cakey than the old one (although the old one also has a slightly mat finish, which I like). I could try to put up with some of these problems, but because matching colour is so important, I will now have to look for a different foundation.

Gives you spots
1Why change what is a great product. I have used lift and luminate for many years now. This new one with serum in it is terrible as it blocks your pores and causes spots. It is also hard to get off even with good make up remover. Will not be buying this again especially as the price has gone up to £18 a bottle. It is glass so not great idea to pack in your suitcase as it may smash. Looks like I am not the only one who dislikes this. Boots needs to have a rethink about this or it will lose many more customers.

Dreadful
1I know this is harsh but I absolutely hate this new foundation! It makes my skin look old, tired and dull. Absolutely gutted because it took me so long to find a foundation that had a medium coverage but still looked dewy. Can anyone recommend anything similar to the old lift and laminate. I’m miserable.

Disappointing
1Have been using no7 for a while but do not like this foundation I bought the same colour I usually use but this one is orange and this foundation has no staying power at all really disappointed

Facial eraser rubbings!
1Really disappointed. Previously loved the lift & laminate foundation, but when smoothing this new triple action with serum foundation over the lift & laminate day cream, it produces eraser rubbings, loads of bits that have to be brushed off. I thought like another reviewer that it would be better after exfoliating, but it made no difference at all. There is obviously a problem with this product as I am not the only reviewer to have this happen.

Great foundation if you can get any out!
3I have been using No7 Lift and Luminate for many years and I like the foundation. I had problems getting foundation out of the previous plastic container with the blue lid. I hoped the new glass bottle would be better but after trying 3 bottles I have given up and I am going to look for another foundation now! Boots please do quality checks on your products before they go on the shelf!

Best foundation I've ever used!
5I've never felt happy with foundation. It always felt heavy and clogging and as for the colour matches I was given! Orange although I'm very fair skinned. So in despair I booked a No7 match made appointment. Its incredible. I finally have a foundation that matches my skin tone perfectly. The formulation of this is just gorgeous. Lightweight and buildable coverage that lasts all day and makes my skin luminous. Definitely a 5 star product!
