TERRIBLE NEW FORMULA
1I bought this formula without really looking at the bottle expecting it to be my usual foundation - it took me a few days to realise that it wasn't my skin being extra dry or the face cream I was using but in fact "Triple Action" Lift & Luminate! Why would you change a product that actually works??? This foundation is terribly drying and does NOT lift and luminate at all! Very disappointed after having used this for years and now back to the drawing board for a new foundation ..

Very disappointed
1I have been using warm ivory instant radiance for some time now and have been very pleased with it. I went to get a refill and the sales assistant was extolling the virtue of this lift and luminate foundation. I because of her recommendation I thought I would give it a try. It did not apply well and it was definitely not warm ivory it was much darker. I am annoyed with myself for changing from my usual product and feel that I have wasted my money.

Disappointed.
1I bought this 2 weeks ago. I have combination skin, dry around my eyes, dehydration mainly but a few fine lines. I am 43. I love no 7 products and use skin care and makeup comletely. I usually use instant radiance, but with this new foundation I wanted to try with advice from the lovely girls in Aberdeen store. I found it dry around my eyes and added about 10 years to my age. It's not luminous in any way. It's dry irritating and over all a complete waist of money. Will go back to instant radiance for sure. Which is a lovely foundation for a busy tired mummy, and works so well with the protect and perfect range. (Which I rate all at 100%. ) x

5This foundation seems to be a bit like marmite! You love it or hate it! I love it. I'm 53 & my skin is pretty good. It's smooth & with very few lines. It tends to be a combination skin with a tendency to flush easily. I've been using Stay Perfect foundation which suits my skin, but thought I'd try something new. Last year I tried the Lift & Luminate Foundation as recommended by the sales lady, but was very disappointed with it as it was thick & difficult to apply evenly. (The one with the mauve band around the lid). This foundation is gorgeous. It glides on beautifully, & evens out my skin tone to disguise the pinkness! It looks invisible until you remove one half from your face! Try it! I would say it is light to medium coverage. I don't think it would cover spots etc...

This new formula is terrible
1I have been using the OLD formula Lift and Luminate for 20 years and it was perfect. This new formula is so drying, feels heavy on my skin and after using only twice it has brought out fine lines all over my cheeks. It's vile. It needs repeating the New formula IS VILE. I have combination skin, greasy nose and forehead and dry cheeks and am 50. I have exchanged Lift and Luminate Triple Action Serum foundation for the Stay Perfect foundation which is ok, but even with mixing into the No 7 liquid skin illuminator I cannot achieve the lovely glow of the old formula. I'm so bummed about this as the shade Cool Vanilla is a perfect match for my skin. Although the Stay Perfect foundation in cool vanilla looks slightly darker than the old Lift and Luminate formula in the same shade so I have had to add a small amount of porcelain to get a good match in the middle of winter. The best way to get a glow on the Stay Perfect foundation is to add a light dusting of a very fine powder highlighter. Unfortunately, on older skin it is better to avoid too many powders on the face as they highlight any fine lines. I'll continue to try adding other brand liquid highlights into the Stay Perfect Foundation to see if I can get a similar effect to the old formula. I'm also going to try Revlon and Maybelline Foundations and see if I can get something I like better. OLD FORMULA PERFECT NEW FORMULA VILE BOOTS PLEASE LISTEN TO YOUR CUSTOMERS AND BRING BACK THE OLD FORMULA. Pretty please with bells on, rainbows and unicorns thrown in for free!

ruined the best foundation for older skin!!!
1I’ve been buying this for so many years. Went to buy two more bottles and the new formulation is terrible - drying, dries into the skin leaving a powder residue, there is no coverage to speak of and the dewy look of the previous has gone. Obviously this hasn’t been put before any real life testers - it’s awful!

Pump stopped working.
1I hate the new packaging. The pump stopped working before the product was finished. The only way to get it out was to take the whole top off and to dip a straw into the bottle. This is very messy and a lot of the product will be wasted as it is stuck to the sides of the bottle. This will happen whether the pump works or not! The old packaging was perfect. Why was it changed?

New formula
1Have used the old formula since it was brought out and I loved it. Dewy skin, easy application and it lasted. This new one is awful. The colors are different, it is so dull and flat. Why did you change something that works? Won’t be buying it again. Back on the search elsewhere. Truly disappointed.
