Not for me at all
1i love skincare and have used a lot of different brands but this is one of the most disapointing ever it is thick,heavy and rolls up into balls even when leaving time in between applying other products. This will be going in the bin expensive mistake.

Very disappointed!!
1I decided to try this cream as it’s recommended for my age group. Within a week of using this, I’ve come out in itchy spots on my face and as others have mentioned, the cream rubs off in clumps, as if your skin is peeling. My skin is left feeling very dry. I’ve used protect and perfect before with no problems but after persevering I’ve decided to consign this cream to the bin. Expensive mistake!

Good but........
4I switched from Protect & Perfect as apparently this one is aimed at my age group now unfortunately for me lol. I really love the fact that the day cream has a slight tint of foundation in it I think. The problem is as someone else mentioned, after a while I tend to get little bits of it coming off dry when I rub my skin which is really disappointing. I don't know whether it's the day cream, the night cream or the serum but I never used to get this with the protect and perfect cream. I hope that Boots can find out what's causing this and hopefully change it so that it doesn't happen because it is a really good cream apart from that.

Why include glitter?
3This feels lovely, goes on well and would be perfect but for the glitter - why is there glitter in it?

Lift and luminate gift set
1My husband bought me this gift set as part of my Christmas present. He thought it must be good as it he thought it was expensive. I’m wary what I use on my skin as I am still prone to spots (I’m 62!) but gave it a go. It’s the worst stuff I have ever used. My skin was so itchy I could have scratched it off and I came out in big lumps and spots. I’ll wait another few weeks before it’s all resigned to the bin and hopefully he won’t notice

Perfect
5I decided to try the Boots No7 Lift & Luminate range as I was struggling to find a facial skincare range that delivered everything I was looking for. After using the serum I then apply the day cream (also using the night cream). It smells nice, absorbs quickly and a little goes a long way. My skin definitely looks and feels better, my sun/age spots have become less visible and my skin looks brighter and healthier. I am on my second pot now and with the regular 3 for 2 offers it's a great price. I will definitely be sticking with the Lift & Luminate for the foreseeable.

So dissapointed in Boots!!
1The recipe has been changed! It used to luminate the skin to look glowy! Obviously it dosent lift anything coz only your surgeon can really do that but this was the best cream ever, the glow lasted all day, ie it illuminated!!! No longer does that and is quite gloopy and makes skin itchy, so upset, won't buy again, not worth it's price tag!

5It's impossible to please everyone but i personally prefer this new version. Skin looks luminous minus the glittery particles. Makeup applies more smoothly too. Always a bonus.

Too Shiny
4I have used no7 moisturisers on and off for years, the protect and perfect one, I’m sure they have helped prevent a lot of ageing but this Lift and Luminate I wouldn’t purchase again as it gives a tin foil effect, so shiny, you must put foundation and powder on top to look normal again.
