Really disappointed
1Given my age I’ve moved from the protect and perfect to this one. It’s really thick but as per other reviews, when I try and apply make up on top of it-just flakes off in pieces- just awful! Very annoyed I’ve spent so much on something I can’t use

Perfect for my dry skin
5I'm 38 and it's taken me most of my 30s to find the right day cream for my dry skin... I don't think anything could ever beat this one. I absolutely love it!

Not as good as Protect & Perfect
1I have been persevering with this cream, but, like many other reviewers find it comes away in lumps upon applying makeup (or even just rubbing my face). I spoke to a No.7 consultant who said that she has the same problem & that Lift & Luminate just doesn’t absorb into some people’s skin. She recommended buying the Protect & Perfect and the cream for 60+ skin (can’t remember the name) and using them on alternate days. Have yet to try this. Struggling to know why Boots haven’t addressed this issue though.

Glowing skin
5I love this cream, I have received so many compliments on how healthy my skin looks since I have been using this. I really dont understand the negative comments, but I have no problems with it.

Great range
5I have been using this range for a few years now, having graduated from Protect and Perfect. A noticeable change I noticed with Lift and Luminate was my even skin tone and I literally looked as if I was 'lit' from the inside. I would not be without my No7 Lift and Luminate products.

I adore this cream.
5This cream is like youth in a jar for me. Used under either foundation or tinted moisturiser and the no7 primer, my skin just looks radiant. In fact I'm so pleased with it, for the first time in years I'm happy to go out without any makeup on at all! I do use the entire L&L range and my skin is now plump and dewy looking rather than the dehydrated state it was before.

Side effects
1I was asked my age and sold this cream a few months back - tried it twice and came out in a rash both times - ( a few weeks apart) . Disappointed as it wasn’t a cheap cream and I use No 7 products all the time normally without a problem

Flakes off looks horrendous
1I have persevered with this cream for 2 weeks. It is horrendous. It Flakes off in huge sloughs which looks like peeling skin. A very rude store manager tried telling me it was due to my skin being the issue. Not likely. Going by lots of other people having the same problem it's clearly an auwful product. Doesn't sink into the skin just sits there like an oil slick all day... Then crumbles away....

Fab!
5I tried some of this cream (it’s my mums) and Hands down THE BEST FACE CREAM EVER! I have normal skin and this feels almost invisible on my face but at the same time makes me look awake and glowing. I wouldn’t rally recommend it if you have oily skin though but it’s Great for no makeup days .

Terrible texture
1I have been trying to use this for two weeks now. My skin is normal, not dry which might be the problem. This cream sits on top of my skin and is very white and shiney a bit of a ‘tin man’ effect. I have also started to get little spots on my cheek bones and I am in my 50’s. It will be going in the bin.
