Very disappointing
2I was excited to try this as part of the Boots Review panel, especially as the box and bottle are well designed from first glance. However the pipet does not allow product to come out - the product is potentially too thick for the pipet, or the pipet hole is too narrow. After unscrewing the cap, the product is easy to apply .. however after a few applications across the last two weeks I have not noticed a difference to my skin . It does not deliver the "powerful" or "professional" peel effect advertised.

Drying, Resurfacing Paste is Better
1This formula is loaded with denatured alcohol and is really, really drying - and is outperformed by the much, much better Resurfacing Paste. Though it has lower Glycolic Acid, it's much more hydrating and has a PHA to balance it out - it's a much more effective exfoliator and cheaper. Not to mention the horrendous packaging this comes in making it impossible to dispense.

Powerful Product = Impressive Results
5Skin is softer and tighter, and lines, marks and pores are reduced! One negative - I, like other reviewers, took an immediate dislike to the dodgy dropper. It is obvious that the formula is too thick for the pipette, even after a vigorous shake. Why is the pipette is necessary anyway? I haven't read anywhere to apply a certain amount of drops. Chuck it in a fancy glass bottle with a pump No 7! Sloppy packaging decisions aside, I really enjoyed using this peel. It is a clear, gloopy, jelly-like formula that feels cooling on the skin when applied. I used a cotton pad to gather the product and apply to face, so as not to contaminate the bottle, and then fingers to massage into the skin. Although I like my pampering products to be scented, and this doesn't seem to smell of anything, it still felt like a spa-at-home treatment. It was a luxury to apply, lie back for 5 minutes and remove with a warm wet cloth. My skin felt immediately smoother after use and blackheads and pores reduced. Less visible wrinkles and a tighter skin on the forehead too - result! It does scare me how we are all chucking acids on our faces more and more these days, with higher and higher percentages. This product is POWERFUL and while it is great that these cosmetic companies are giving us access to these powerful acids, we must use the power wisely! I started slow with this product, applying sparingly, and I am gradually increasing amount and frequency. I am also taking care not to use any other strong acid product and being wary of my sun exposure, for a couple of days either side. Acids can cause sensitivity, upset the skin and make it more prone to sun damage. Serious bit out of the way, this is an amazing treatment with impressive results which compete with those from a skin peel treatment at a clinic, for a lot less money! I have happily welcomed it to my pamper product drawer!

Soft skin
4I have used this a couple of times and feel it has left my skin feeling very smooth and soft. I'm hopeful that it will help blackheads and even our my skin as I am prone to breakouts. I did the patch test with no issues. No tingling, no real fragrance. All good from me!

Not for sensitive skin
1I can’t actually give this product a fair rating as I reacted to the patch test and therefore never applied it to my face. I use glycolic products in my current skincare regime so not sure why I reacted to this specific one but for that reason I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone with sensitive skin.

Improved the appearance of pores
5I have been using this for a fortnight now, approximately 5 uses. I have noticed that my skin is softer and my pores seem improved. I have suffered with blackheads since a teenager and this product genuinely makes a difference. My husband is also regularly pinching it!

Soft skin
4My skin is clear, I don't get spots but I do have hyperpigmentation around my mouth and it is generally looking dull lately. Despite having Asian skin, it comes out in rashes if I don't liberally apply suncream. So, I was quite wary of making my already sensitive skin even worse as the product warns you to wear SPF afterwards. Upon my first application, there was some tingling but I was impressed with the way my skin felt after. By the 3rd application, my skin felt considerably more tingly and my cheeks went red. So, although the product advises you to use it 3 times a week on non-consecutive days, I think I will stick to twice a week as that seems to work better for me. I have been out the day after application and we have had lots of sunny weather, but my skin hasn't had any adverse effects as I've applied SPF 50+. I would recommend.

I like this product....
4....for the way my skin feels after use, however, i have recently had radiotherapy, and as a result i neglected my skin, so it needs all the help it can get,my face occasionally tingled around the cheeks area, but that could just be due to my hot flushes im getting, it was a bit hard to remove but a warm damp flannel seemed to do the trick, i like the warning also about using sunscreen during and for a week after stopping use, bit early to tell if it has made an overall difference, but it made me feel better

Im in love!
5this product is great, I've used it as directed for the last two weeks and it leaves my skin SO soft and smooth. I love it, my make up looks better and its really helped with my maskne patches.

Smooth skins and reduced pores
5I suffer from blackheads and enlarged pores. I’ve not found a product that can help me in the way this one does. After one use my skin felt smoother and healthier. I also have some scarring from spots and a sun/dark spot on my face which have all reduced since using this peel. Highly recommend!
