New packaging
3Boots.com review When the move is to reduce packaging, why has cardboard packaging been introduced to mascaras. Disappointed in Boots.

Disappointing
2Boots.com review You need to apply several times to try to build up any volume. The product is very runny and takes a while to dry. The brush clogs up so it is difficult to apply smoothly, especially on the lower lashes.

Thank you Boots - great mascara
5Boots.com review I’ve had so much trouble with over large brushes in mascaras over the years that I’d almost given up buying it. I popped into Boots just before Christmas and was so pleased to see their display of No 7 mascaras with the brushes on show next to the mascara (displayed in plastic cases) and they all looked normal size. I have never been so happy in making my choice. My last mascara was a Rimmel ‘large lash’ or something and the brush was so ridiculously large that the liquid spread all over my eyelids and my lashes clumped together. I persevered with that by watering down the liquid and using a different and thinner mascara brush. I was never happy with it.- hence my reluctant and having to buy a new one. I also bought a cheaper one before Christmas but that clumped again and it went in the bin. I was so surprised and pleased at the Boots display, and how this No7 mascara is so easy to apply and looks really good (even if I say so myself) and NO clumping of lashes. So there’ll be no more second guessing the size of the brush, and no more disappointment.

Runny
1Boots.com review When it first goes on, it looks lovely. After a little while I noticed it had transferred to my upper eyelid. When I came home 2 hours later from being outside in the damp conditions I noticed it all down my face. It had basically fallen off and landed in clumps under my eyes. I won't be continuing to use this product and will have to go out an spend another £10-12 to get a decent one. I always use No7 amd are generally quite happy, but not this time

Awful mascara
1Boots.com review I bought this mascara last week, it promises visibly volumised thicker lashes and paid £10. This mascara is awful, the brush separated the lashes as promised but basically just coloured them black with no change in thickness. My eyelashes looked the same just a wee bit darker, didn’t look like I was wearing mascara despite numerous coats. I have bought cheap £4 mascaras that have been so much better than this. Waste of money, it’s going in the bin. Avoid unless you are going for a very natural no makeup look!

Just doesn’t compare, sadly - Very poor
1Boots.com review I usually buy NYX Worth the Hype mascara but the Boots store I visited were out of stock, so I saw that there were some offers on the No 7 range so decided to give it a go. Anyway…. I wish I hadn’t!Extremely disappointed with this product, I am naturally blessed with long eyelashes so use mascara to add some volume and definition. This doesn’t really do anything except add the colour. The product seems thin and watery and the brush doesn’t build and define my lashes anything like the NYX mascara I usually use - which is definitely ‘Worth the Hype’. Even after applying a couple of layers of the No 7 product the quality and finish is really disappointing. £10 wasted - I won’t be considering buying No 7 makeup again in the future

Watery & ineffective
1Boots.com review It’s so thin & watery that it smudges round my eyes and runs off if I’m out in the tiniest spit of rain. Doesn’t do much to my lashes other than colour them. I have to use a thicker mascara over the top that doesn’t run just to avoid wasting it

Allergic reaction
1Boots.com review I've worn No 7 mascara for any years now but I believe they have changed formulas recently. I bought this mascara after I had an allergic reaction to ANOTHER No 7 hypoallergenic mascara... I was hoping it'd be different but this one had the same reaction! No more No7 for me unfortunately.

So disappointed
1Boots.com review I have bought No7 products for years and they never disappoint, until now! This is hands down the worst mascara I have ever used. It doesn’t do anything for your lashes and smudges ridiculously easy. What a shame when every other No7 mascara I have tried has been fab. Waste of money!
