this concealer does have some radiance in it but not much coverage.

Love it!

I wanted to try the concealer because I wanted a concealer that did the job. I put the concealer under my eyes in the colour Calico which is my colour match for my complexion. I used a sponge wedge after I dotted it under my eyes. It looked fantastic & it didn't sink into my lines. I would definitely recommend. It also covers my dark marks.

Good but could do with improvement

This concealer can cover up dark circles under your eyes well but only if foundation has been applied before. On it's own I find that it doesn't give as much coverage as expected especially as I have pale skin. It also seems to highlight under my eyes but for all the wrong reasons as the dark circles can still show through! The application brush is good as it can sweep the concealer over the eye area evenly but i feel like i need to click the button a few times to get a decent amount of concealer whenever i use it. When blending it in i try not to use my fingers as i find that it just takes the product off than sweep over where i need it. The concealer itself is good in the way that it is light enough to feel like you are not wearing any and the shade needed for my skin matches me perfectly. (used the match-made service to find which one, would strongly suggest using this to find the right shade for you!) If planning to buy this item i would suggest the no7 concealer brush as i find that helps with blending.

Wasn't for me.

I was expecting this to be a really good under eye concealer but it really isn't. I have used it a few times over the past few months and every time I have used it it has gone blotchy and completely disappeared after about 2 hours of wear. I've tried it with different No7 foundations and a few others, with and without primer and every time it goes blotchy and comes off. It's also hard to blend, I end up patting it on with my fingers because the brush is useless.

Stop changing things!

I totally agree with previous reviewers, that this concealer is not a patch on the old one. Much harder to blend, much harder to find a colour match. I too get so annoyed at the constant changes. If it works, why mess about with it? I have sensitive skin and allergies to many products, and every time they change things I have to go through the boring process of emailing to see if they've changed the formula, waiting for the response, and trying out carefully to see if I react badly to it. I just want to know that when I've found a good product, I can stick to it. So frustrating and puts me off the brand.

Good for reducing dark shadows.

The reviews for this product aren't too great, but in my personal experience I cannot not wear this product when I'm wearing foundation. I tend to use shade 10 (i'm pretty sure that's the lightest) as I'm quite pale and that shade matches the rest of my face so I don't use it as a highlighter of any sort. I wear it underneath my foundation directly under my eyes and then I put another layer of concealer from the Match Made no7 brand (recommended below) on top of that, and together they completely reduce the look of my dark shadows and protruding veins below my eyes. If you're looking for a sort of highlight-concealer, I'm not entirely sure this product is good for that, as it tends to blend perfectly with the foundation so that it disappears altogether in order to hide the dark circles, rather than highlighting your skin.

Doesn't Conceal

Whilst I prefer the brush application as it's more accurate and softer than stick concealers which don't feel nice when they drag across your face, that's the only positive about this product. You can try to blend this in but it just comes off instantly, taking off the foundation beneath it. Waste of money.

Definitely not worth the money

I purchased this after a shade consultation based on the no 7 stay perfect foundation that I use.although the colour matched ok at best the product is just not very good. I have dark circles of a greyish colour although they are not very bad I really wanted to conceal them as I feel they are ageing me I am 44.it just doesn't work there is nothing illuminating about it and it seemed to make the dark circles look worse than they are the also it wears off after about an hour I was constantly retouching it during the day so the contents don't last very long.i assumed as I use foundation powders and all no 7 skincare this would be as good I was very wrong.i will not purchase another and feel that for the price there are other options that will do a far better job and cost a lot less

No7 what have you done?

1

I have used No7 Instant Radiance Concealer in shade 1 for years, I've always thought it one of the best concealers out there (even better than the main competitor), I've recommended it to friends, I've even been living abroad and have got family to send it over to me during that time because I thought it was that great. I returned to the UK the other week and noticed that No7 no longer make the same concealer. I just thought I'd try the the palest shade from the new range of colours, I couldn't believe how dark it was compared to the old shade 1. I have very fair skin with pinky tones in it and loved that the old shade 1 was pale enough and matched my pink tones. I tried out the new colours in the shop and even the palest is too dark for me, it did not blend with my skin at all, it just looked orange. If you're looking for a concealer for fair skin, unfortunately these are not suitable. No7, I'm all for change and happy that you've improved the concealer but why have you not brought out a shade for fair/pale skin? Please please please bring back the old shade 1 or a similar colour. Like so many other people who've written reviews here I'm disappointed with this new range and sadly will no longer be able to buy this product that I have loved and bought for many years.

Not a patch on the old product...

1

Can only echo other reviews of this product...for several years now I'd bought the old version in shade I and loved it for brightening up under the eyes. Bought this a few weeks ago in the lightest shade available from the new range...I have a seven month old (who doesn't like sleep) so at first put the suddenly darkening circles under my eyes down to him!!! But then on a whim bought the product I used to use before Shade I and as soon as I put it on, wow, it was like I had my face back! Haven't touched this new No.7 since and in all honesty it'll probably now end up in the bin. Such a shame that the previous product was discontinued as I had always rated it as just as good as the very top under eye concealers, but more reasonably priced! Feel a bit responsible too as I'd raved about it to friends, two of whom have recently gone out and bought this not knowing it had changed and like me they've found it next to useless! Just sorry I wasted their money and my own. Crazy No.7 seem to be willing to lose so many loyal customers to the old product by replacing it with this.
